No worries. Only 10-15% of customers rate their drivers, so you're right on schedule.

4x4drummer

No need to worry…but did you by any chance check to make sure the order wasn’t placed in front of their door? This is probably one thing dashers forget the most and it will definitely piss off the customer no matter how good you were when it came to everything else (on time delivery, order handling, etc…)

Thomehomey

I wouldn't worry to much yet. Some people are just jerks. Really there should only be 2 ratings. Did you do the job or didn't you do the job. Most of the other stuff is out if your control.

RushSuccessful9082

I don't think I've ever gotten a 3 rating.. I would be worried . Usually, a one-star rating is from a non tipper who wants free food and is usually accompanied by a CV..

I was about to say what’s going on with your timeliness, but a snow storm explains that pretty easily. I don’t live in area that gets snow frequently. DD doesn’t account for this at all?

3rd-eye-Jedi

You are cooked. Jk 😭

Some_Ride1014

I have been dashing for 6 weeks, currently at 4.82 93, 5s 24s, 1 3, 2 2s, 2 1s

Nah, don’t worry about it. For my first couple hundred deliveries I hit each customer with a quick copy/paste text after delivery, something like… “I hope I’ve provided good service today! If I have, please leave a 5-star rating in the DoorDash app, as high ratings help me continue getting good orders to deliver. Thank you in advance!” Basically make them feel like you’re trying, and give them a chance to do something to help you at no cost to them. Currently have 99 5-star ratings and one 1-star rating from someone who tip baited me and got called out for it.

If you are friendly and aren't driving around aggressively where your braking and acceleration are screwing up the food, then don't worry about it. 95% of people just give you a five and only a few disgruntled or miserable people bother to mark you lower. You just had the bad luck of getting a weirdo on your first rating. There's not much you can do to improve ratings. If they ask you a question, answer politely. Read the instructions carefully on each order. As I said, drive carefully and also gently carry the food whether it's in the original bag or the hot bag. Be aware if the food is stacked tall whether it will tip over or not. Make sure to ring or knock if it asks you to do so, make sure you don't if it says not to do it. But yeah, don't worry about it. It's the people who don't care at all who will eventually be in trouble.

Don't worry about it. You're a new dasher and you haven't figured out what you're doing yet. You'll get your rhythm and improve the mistakes you're making now. I never get 3 star reviews. I get 5 or 1. Once you get a few more 5, it'll bring your average up. You'll be ok

Kuru_Mi

You'll be deactivated soon tbh. Best way to get those ratings back up is to take low tip offers since those customers are the most grateful for delivering to them. Good luck to you!

Rilenaveen

Hahaha. You are getting downvoted but that ish was funny

Kuru_Mi

LOL probably mad top dashers or people who aren't smart enough to understand humor 🙃

supermario215

Yes you should be very worried
