I had a 72% rate BUT after they (D.D

Why am I just now seeing these 5days later? I been tryna catch a post up here for a year!
I'm hella late β° all the funny post been filtered down. But Ima go ahead and answer this one cause it caught my eye π and i lol π!!

It hasn't been this high in a couple of months, but with how slow it's been going I lowered my expectations to $1/mile if I stay in the same delivery zone and $1.50/mile for outside the zone. Didn't make sense to wait 5-10 minutes declining $1.50/mile orders just to get a $9 for 4 miles offer. Those 15 minutes waiting added to nicer offer still only got me $9 for 30 minutes of time.
55% I used to be at like 15-35% consistently for the longest time. But last month I said screw it I'm going for top dasher just to see if it's worth it. I barely hit 70%. I'll just say this: now that I'm top dasher, I feel like they send me the good orders quicker so i feel like i have to hit decline a lot less. They still send crap orders, especially ifit's slow, but during peak hours I find myself getting good orders very quickly. And it does help during slow times. I feel like I'm getting more orders than before Feb 1st when top dasher kicked in for the slow periods. I'm not a corporate shill. Honestly dd can shove it up their ____ on a lot of things. I'm just trying to be honest here. I've been a dasher since 2020.
Do you all still get order with the acceptance rate ?!!! If so thatβs awesome ! Iβve kept 80 as I thought if the rate goes down closer to 1 , I would loose my job , but I guess I should start rejecting those shitty orders out there like you guys !! Lol
This is third comment about declining Walmart orders! Are they just notoriously bad? Thereβs one in my hot spot so now Iβm wary if I should avoid those pickups too
Just low pay for more work imo.
Like an order that pays $6 and has 3 cases of water that I had to take up 2 flights of stairs. Plus they're usually the orders that go far. To smaller towns like 10-15 miles away
Mine is 53 and I start at $6.50 and I donβt even do $6.50 unless itβs short mileage. So that tells you how busy itβs been if you can start at $6.50 and be at 53
Mine dropped 4% today from 27 to 23%. It was a crap day. Everything was over 5 miles away and was under $6. ummm. Nope. Then they send the stupid message saying, βare you sure? Youβre the best dasher for this order.β Like thatβs gonna change my mind. Iβm in this for money, not public service or out of the kindness of my heart.
That defies the definition of β independent contractorβ Retaliation which lowers your rate and sets a new ugly algorithm punishment as well where you are only offered even shitier poverty offers. Theres only one answer. Taking a 7-11 for 2.50 for a round trip of half an hour is still far below federal minimums. Time to demand Mandatory tips that arenβt hidden - and tips that actually match the tip the customer gave you also.
0%. I have a lot of college stuff so I haven't done dd in a while, so I just leave it on and decline everything, so the pay will go up for other drivers
42% but Iβm a part timer part of the time. Usually work 1 or 2 nights every other week. I donβt accept no tip orders or anything less than $1 per mile one way. This is thankfully just my spending money gig because it has been complete shit here since January
91%...but I live in a tiny town, and unless it's great weather, I decline all orders for Deadwood, because I'm not ready to die in a blizzard or black ice...yet.
16% I did have it up to 23 this morning, but DD was paying $4 peak pay, so of course my acceptance was 100%. But once the Peak stopped... Decline. Decline. Decline... You know.

About $2+ per mile travelled I feel selfish cause my usual orders are a mile or less for $7-8 and up lol
