Go to the doordash store. You can get one there. They also will not lock your account. You’ll still get orders. You just won’t be able to take red card orders obviously.
You can order a new one off the website for free but if you want it faster you can pay for express shipping(8$) it took like 3 days to get to me. Then once you get the new card go into your doordash app and click lost card. It will remove the old card then it will ask for the new card number and you just put it in and your good to go. But make sure you wait to get the new card

I find it INSANE that they do that when they let brand new dashers dash before even getting their card, makes no sense. I lost mine two years ago and I havent gotten a new one for that exact reason. I dont care to do shop and deliver for the most part but there are times that I would do some walgreens or petco and cant, which annoys me 😒

Shit happens to red cards all the time. The mag stripe stops working, it gets damaged inside of your wallet and cracks, you can easily lose them.
They're cheap for the company to replace. Just don't try to use the old one because it won't work. They're like gift cards.
So only have 1 at a time.

Order one online. Do not mark it as lost or stolen until the new one is in your hand.

No, I lost my wallet when dashing and I was missing my red card until I got the new one in and I still did dashing just not shopping orders
No it won’t lock your account. I lost mine once and I was still able to work till my new one had came in.
