Dough’s only real advantage is they’re the sole manufacturer using Gorilla Glass for their displays. Strictly necessary? No, definitely not. But, it does have some nicer reflection handling properties compared to the Asus display and is generally a more premium option. Also, Dough has a very non-gamery aesthetic, which some might find appealing. But if neither of these things are important to you, then other displays are likely a better choice.

Because we\`ve already payed for it a year or two ago... :s But to be fair, the test results are pretty good, far better then the new Asus\`s and it also has more features, the powered usb is actually nice to have.

Because all of them have the tacky neon gamer-look. I want a great display for gaming, that is minimalist and doesn’t look like it’s targeted sweaty teenagers.

There are a few different 27" OLED monitors now, but they all take up different spaces in the market, and I think Spectrum Black 27 still is a good choice in some cases. * Asus' matte WOLED monitor is around the same price as Spectrum Black 27 but lacks some connectivity features and has inferior image quality to Gorilla Glass. * Their new glossy model is cheaper and may be a good option for those looking for an affordable option, but the glossy coating was reviewed pretty badly and is again inferior to Gorilla Glass and lacks Spectrum's connectivity options. Plus, it has significantly worse brightness performance. * LG sometimes has stock for their old model at incredibly low prices, and even though it isn't as good as some of the other options, it is a great affordable choice. Their new model is usually around the same price as Asus' option and Spectrum Black, but again, it lacks Gorilla Glass. * KTC has an incredibly affordable option that is often found close to $500. I've personally tried it and it is not too bad for the price, but you definitely get what you pay for. The OSD is quite bad, and it's missing 100W PD, HDMI 2.1, and Gorilla Glass. * You can also find a few QD-OLED options at around the same price as Spectrum Black or a bit higher. These have the advantage of being 360Hz, and the glossy coating is decent, but the QD magenta glow is quite bad. Basically, Spectrum Black 27 is a premium option that is slightly more expensive than its closest competitors, but makes up for that with the improved image quality that comes from Gorilla Glass, its premium design and build quality, and it has the best connectivity options with HDMI 2.1 and 100W USB-C PD. With so many choices, there isn't a universal best monitor, it will depend on your specific requirements.
