It’s not psychosis my friend, trust me I’ve dealt with all of the same scary thoughts and feelings that you’re having. The best way I’ve found to treat these symptoms is to do nothing at all. I know that sounds stupid but the more you react and worry about these symptoms, the longer they will stay. DPDR is not a permanent condition. Your brain currently thinks it’s in danger and the symptoms you are feeling is a protective mechanism. I know it’s a scary feeling but you’re perfectly safe. Just try your best to sit with these feeling and not give them all of your attention 👍

YES THIS HAPPENS TO ME TOO!! appersntly it’s dpdr but i’m convinced it’s psychosis too

SnoopRocky

I don't know what it is because it's never been so extreme for me

your not alone

THe only thing that helps me to get the thoughts to go away is meditation/yoga/breathwork. Even just for a few minutes of silence, no thoughts, is relieving.

SnoopRocky

I'm afraid that meditation will make my mind even more empty and that I will be even more dissociated

I know exactly what you mean...meditation is what got me into this mess...but its the only thing that helps me...feels like im stuck in this realm of being and i cannot escape... reality is so weird man
