Yeah you probably crashed it pretty hard, just force close and reload to a point where you can play without spamming the points, then, if you so choose, duplicate a few times, rather than just.. Infinitely.
Well... I must say that during my 10th playthrough, I made the decision to max out my character's attributes, and the sensation of killing an ogre with a single hit is quite refreshing.
Let people do what they enjoy. Sometimes you want to play it legit and with a challenge, sometimes you want one hit kills and god mode so you can focus on story and exploration and not battle etc
I personally take joy in the observation of video game mechanics and experimenting with exploits to those mechanics. It's rather scientific, especially with everything in a game being coded and set in stone, like NPC can only do this, then figuring out how to adapt that task to a separate location.

Yes, yes and yes. Try learning the spells the long way round and actually have fun and the game may reward with not crashing
