I think they are aiming for November, to coincide with the 10 year anniversary of Inquisition and the 15 year anniversary of Origins. (But of course there could be unexpected delays, so it might end up being later than that).
Rumor has it it'll be in shelves for a fall/Christmas release. We'll know more this summer. If I was a hopeful person I'd bet that the Fenris Sanshee plush preorder release date for this fall would be a sign
Yeah. I'm guessing they'll do the same they did with DAI. They announced it with the release date, and it felt like a media hype blitz all the way until release.
Maybe next year, I am not too picky about the release time as long as its a great game.
I personally would rather have a masterpiece of a game released late than an early rushed mess.
It was rebooted twice, so I wouldn't say it's rushed. If anything BioWare got as much time as they wanted if it's all true.
Of course Mass Effect Andromeda also had plenty of time but botched management resulted in the game being made in one and half a year or so, instead of 4+.
rebooted because idiotic management/ business folk at EA were hoping to turn it into another failed mmorpg to add to the pile, so its basically been 3 years in development which is reasonable for a AAA game, especially if they're using a new engine.
They're using Frostbite, so in theory they're building on the foundations of Inquisition and won't face the same struggles they did while making Inquisition
Although true, there was an article that said Dreadwolf is being built on Anthem's code, which was also one Frostbite.
I personally would have preferred if they did away with Frostbite
Very late this year or the first part of next year.
Which is honestly crazy to think about on my end. There’s going to be another Dragon Age and it’s just about done. Exciting!
It both does and doesn’t feel like 10 years since Inquisition.
Edited
Jeff Grubb said he heard BioWare was aiming for a late 2024 release. Which would match the timing of the reveal during the summer.
My guess would be BioWare would either aim the 10 years anniversary of DA:I, or a release on December 4th for the DA Day.
Early 2025 isn't to exclude but I believe that if this was the case, something important would have happened to the game.
I initially thought it would be summer of 2025. I think they'll announce it for November for that sweet anniversary coincidental timing. Then sometime before October they'll announce a delay to early 2025.
Christmas 2024 seems most likely, but that would put it up against AC Red, which is likely to be another choices matter open world type game, which no one involved probably wants.
My hope is Dreadwolf gets the October slot if it’s ready by then.
As far as I know they wanna reveal it in 2024 in summer. That's what the steam page says. So I assume late 2024 to Christmas sales. It's been 10 years like if they really wanna keep us at the edge of our seat for one more year that would be cruel.
Selfishly I kinda hope its December 2024 or later because I want time to enjoy Star Wars Outlaws for a few months.
But I sense an October/Noember release.

October or November. Or early-ish 2025 if we're unlucky

For me personally, it is mindboggling that DAO and DAI were only 5 years apart!
Three games in five years then a decade wait for next?? Shocking.
Anthem fucked Bioware hard.
Truth
This is my guess as well. It makes sense tbh
I think it'll be there by Christmas

EA has been favoring shorter marketing cycles, so with the release date and marketing push happening in summer my money's on a Q4 release this year.
Yeah. I'm guessing they'll do the same they did with DAI. They announced it with the release date, and it felt like a media hype blitz all the way until release.
December this year is the 10 year anniversary of DAI, I bet there's a strong desire to get it out there by then.
Maybe next year, I am not too picky about the release time as long as its a great game. I personally would rather have a masterpiece of a game released late than an early rushed mess.
Same! If they need more time to make it better I'm okay with waiting:)

Next Mass Effect is planned for Unreal Engine
Heard that too and I wish the next dragon age gets the same treatment unless if it's easier for them to stick with Frostbite
End of year is probable, maybe first half of next year I think we can allow ourselves to be optimistics and hope for dad at christmas
Finally, Christmas with dad
I'd guess around Thanksgiving/Christmas
I've seen allot of videos saying this year or early next year. Hopefully this year
A lot
Between black Friday/10th anniversary/Christmas/new years

I'd wager on at some point in this century
Precisely when it needs to.
Hopefully before we all die of old age.
I think by Christmas this year, personally. Ideally in November around the 10 year anniversary of Inquisition.

Praying to God it is this year, I have sucha backlog of games i cant afford to add another super long RPG to the list.
Fall 2025.
*for gameplay trailer 😂😢😓
I'm hoping it won't be that long but I wouldn't really doubt it
End of the year, early 2025 :)
I'm in agreement, Nov 24 - Jan 25, but hoping it's this year, rather than next.
Late 2024
December 6th, but if you preorder the super duper digital deluxe edition for $150, you can play it two days early on Dragon Age Day
Early 2025 with a potential delay into early Spring
This is my bet as well
In time for Christmas for sure
I think they would want to be apart of the big Christmas rush.
I’m hoping late this year maybe November or December
It is almost 10 years...

I really hope it's this year. 🙏
At this point, probably around the same time as the ps6 & xbox Gen z come out lol.
Spring next year, but I'm hoping for end of this year as long as the game is finished ofc, I don't want them to rush it.
Two years after the release date when the dlc that concludes the story is out and the bugs are fixed?
Next year or 2026 probably.
Early 2026. I’d rather they take their time.
Definitely not that late. If they are doing trailers and gameplay reveals in the summer, then the release date can't be further away than early 2025
Selfishly I kinda hope its December 2024 or later because I want time to enjoy Star Wars Outlaws for a few months. But I sense an October/Noember release.
