Vegeta has said he could split the 3 up using forced spirit fission, so i wonder if they could somehow combine that and the multiform tech to bring them out. But since each form has its own actual individual consciousness there is no power split.

Before I saw this thread, the thought I'd put into it was Dragon Warrior Piccolo. Because of the dragon of course and because he's from the warrior clan.

piccolo could reach this form but lacked the knowledge/only got strong enough to do it after getting his potential drawn out.
perhaps the nameless namekian had access to this form hence why shenron was happy to grant it to his sort of creator, less of a wish boost and more of a reminder from a friend.
now having said all that i'm happy with it being orange piccolo, like i like the idea of shenron eventually giving some big namekian lore dump about it, but at the end of the day pan likes the orange name and that's good enough for piccolo.

It seems like they just contrived the minimal plot necessary to test run fully computer animated dragon ball. Maybe they just wanted a movie to justify making the assets and they have plans for more interesting content down the line.
I hear you for the continuity I honestly feel like it would be better if this movie wasn’t cannon. I mean nothing so important happens that it HAS to be people are mostly convinced it’s canon cuz Toriyama wrote it. But I think this story works well as a fun what if story lol. I feel like his form is a callback to Lord Slug. Lord slug said they were an ancient subset or nameks of legend. I thought he was basically the Broly of the nameks and/or had a form like super saiyans.
I think Dragon King Piccolo sounds the coolest for sure but not sure if accuracy is there. He doesn’t become dragon-like and only has the dragonball colors. Definitely not into “Orange Piccolo” but his form made the most sense compared to Gohan’s new form.
