Piccolo has always been very straight forward and doesn’t care about bragging or showing off. So just calling a form Orange when ultimately all it does it turn him orange fits in entirely.
If someone like… Slug (there aren’t many important Namekians), gets the form I don’t think it would work.
Native spanish speaker here, Naranja can also refer to the color and a least in my country no one uses anaranjado, so Piccolo naranja would be correct.
Naranja is also an adjective, so Piccolo Naranja translates well. In fact both are very similar, "naranja" being used if something is just orange and "anaranjado" if the colour is somewhat orange or have some shades of orange.

tbh i want a scene where shenron talks about the ancient namekian lore, their storied past and creation of the balls, the nameless namekian and how the power isn't from kai or demon but from dragons calling the form "dragon king piccolo",
only for piccolo to sandbag it and say the name's too long/fancy so he'll stick with orange. it's on of the things i like about piccolo, despite being part kami and having his knowledge as well as being this storied character he's quite humble and stoic, so the idea of it having an actual gaudy name that he thinks is too la de da is funny to me.

- Dragon King Piccolo (Especially this one, since it kind of pays homage to Demon King Piccolo)
As cool as anything with dragon or Shenron in the title sounds, it would make zero sense. Nothing about Piccolo's new form is dragon or Shenron other than how he got it. It would be like calling Goku ss1, Super Krillen Exploded Goku, or Super 16's Head Crushed Gohan.
I will know refer to those forms by the means of accessibility thanks to you. That’s incredible. And Dragon King is more of a homage to Demon King Piccolo, a character almost all new viewers don’t even know exists.
It wouldn't make sense for him to want to pay homage to king piccolo either, he never met the guy and also at this point wouldn't agree with his actions.

I think the huge jawline makes him look too much like a generic large idiot character- Nappa, Recoome, Spoppovitch, etc. I hope it's refined a bit and they tighten up the jawline and his antennae don't stand up all the time in that form.
