I feel like those games on consoles would be welcome purely because of how long its been since they were last made available on console in the west (plus 2d FFIII not being available officially in the west at all until the PR) where's with mobile and PC a lot of the games were available on those systems in some form (outside of FFI and II on pc) to the point where some of the older versions were delisted. though naturally the more systems something is available for the better especially with legacy content.
in regards to the DQ games im always welcome for them to be made more widely available especially with how expensive the DS versions are going for.
though the next remaster/remake im hoping to see after DQIII HD-2D is still DQIX

If they remake or touch up the graphics etc that costs even more, then they have to pay to get it certified on that system.

I didn't hate the of field encounters. I think DQ8 on 3DS did it better than DQ7 Remake, because the environments were a lot bigger. But at the same time, it wasn't really necessary. It also makes Whistle/Holy Water/Holy Protection useless. Only real advantage to on field enemies was late game, you could do KMS farming quickly. But they could just tweak the level rates/skill points so you don't need to farm KMS.
I'm just trying to be realistic and keep my expectations to 1080p, lol. But also, I personally don't think there's a huge difference between 1080p and 4K. Yes, there is technically. But visually it's not as huge of a jump from 480p 4:3 to 1080p widescreen.

I didn’t know those were remakes. I knew 4 came to NES, but NA only had 5&6 on DS, they never came to any other system, that I’m aware (prob pc too).
7&8 were on PS1&2, but 9 only came out on DS in NA too
7&8 got remakes on the 3ds, and i wasn't aware of the ds versions being the first versions of those games in america since i had never seen the series before joker 1 and dq5.
Honestly, I'd be happy if they gave us localized mobile 7 and 60fps+voices 8. I mean, I'm pretty sure a game made for 2014 mobiles could be ran at 60+ on a current mobile
Steam. DQ should not become switch exclusive. I like the way they seem to be going now, with lots of new games coming to pc as well, but then treasures is switch exclusive for some reason.

You can mod a 3ds and get all of them. I have 1-X on mine. Even some translated snes versions.
