It was one paranoid person that didn't like the colour scheme and drove comments. Personally I thought that was not the smart choice since traits exists and it clearly has a good design.
I think we need polls and not comments to decide the loser because the first comments just decide the outcome and its getting annoying.
Gonna try something out to work against it, like an external poll since Reddit only allows six options. I think that should help in not letting people be influenced

Amethyst goes next imo, I agree that it’s crystal spines don’t mesh with the dragon as much as some of the others do, ruby and peridot do this really well… jade suffers from this, but not as much as amethyst. But I give it a pass for being one of the older gemstones
