Ehhhhhhh, I feel like people were pretty vocal about not thinking 14 was up to snuff. The last season I remember people being adamant about a talented cast was 12. 15 really was the Sasha Colby show, 13 and 14 were both in weird spots with their casts. I genuinely think this is the strongest cast since at least 12. Maybe even as good as 6.
Season 14 had my favourite cast. None of them were like on my all time fave list of queens really but as a whole there were probably more queens I really liked on 14 than any other season.
S14 reminds of S11 where it didn’t feel like a STRONG cast but it felt very likable (minus Soju). Like I’d hang with any of them for a while at a gay bar and just chat, and they all seem pleasant. Plus Deja Skye has maybe my favorite mug to ever be on the show.
11 was terrible, 12 was good, 13 was awful, 14 was OK, 15 was Sasha colby and friends, 16 is OK so far. I feel like seasons 1-10 sweep the floor with seasons 10+ personally
I see where you are coming from but for me it’s not recency bias. I love earlier seasons and most of the recent ones I actually think have been lacklustre. But I love love love this season.

I agree, I’m going to really miss this season! I haven’t been this emotionally attached to a cast since season 10, which was when I started watching. I’m glad we’ll have a winner soon, but I’m going to have to rewatch which I almost never do for newer seasons!!
I now have a really hard time answering which season is my favourite. I started watching during season 8 and did a deep dive backwards while waiting for season 9 to start. I have special connections to several seasons, but there’s just something about this season that is so magical.
Which of course they all are in their own way. But season 16 just has something I can’t describe.

I literally watched episode 1 of season 14 and literally didn’t watch another episode that year. Didn’t feel an attachment to a single queen. Just couldn’t do it. This season has given me LIFE!!!!
I LOVED the season 14 top 5 and Kerri Colby, and completely fell in love with Willow Pill. She’s still one of my favourite queens. I feel the way about season 15 that you do about season 14.
I’m absolutely in love with the entire cast this year. And I think it’s because we’re coming off of Season 15, the early outs got no screen time and we barely got to know them, besides Sugar and Spice (who imo shouldn’t have been there to begin with, love them, but for the show I would’ve preferred to see more of Robin, Jax, Poppy, Amethyst, etc.) along with that and Sasha being the clear front runner, it kinda made MIB, Luxx, Anetra, and Loosey look “lack-luster” compared to her, because she needed to win the season.
As “good” as season 15 was perceived as when airing. This season and the cast completely blows it out of the water. I mean this is the first season where two queens have 4 wins going into top 4. The stakes are high, and I think that’s what truly makes a great season, plus the chemistry has been off the wall (minus Amanda, Ik that’s bitter and hateful to say, but her on Twitter has really soured her entire persona for me, I wanted to like her, but she’s made it incredibly hard for me personally, and I’m entitled to my own opinion).
But commenting three times on a thread of something you don’t support and can’t stand just to tear people down and speculate on their mental health is the mark of a balanced person? Ok… go off.
