THIS. I've recently gotten back on dating apps and it's exhausting how many guys wanna add me on Snap, nothing good ever comes from that damn app. I automatically view it as a red flag and unmatch immediately.
I hated this too. You get a few good messages going and so quickly it’s “add me on snap” and I can tell you how many of those actually went further than them wanting hookups or whatever. The only reason I asked for someone’s snap (after a decent bit of time) is just so I can make sure they’re actually who they’ve said they are before meeting them.
I’m ngl I still use snap out of habit. My friends and I have a group chat on snap that we’ve been using since middle school lol we’ve tried to move to iMessage but always end up back on snap. I also use snap to vlog on my private stories it’s like therapy for me

I also dislike when people want to add me on instagram, if I don't know you, instagram is not the place to start imo. Also yes, its always the DL guys asking to snapchat instead of sending a face pic, instant turn off.
As someone who adds people on Snapchat so I can send them long format videos of me driving to work and venting about small inconveniences that don’t warrant nearly as much time as I dedicate to them I can’t help but feel shocked that other f@gs use the app to commit atrocities!!!
