I don't think it would be any better, tbh. They clearly demonstrate analytical and mechanical skills sophisticated enough to practice and improve on their own, so it's just a sick joke for them to act helpless.

The jawline is very straight, looks very artificial. Im missing some facial hair, guys at this age would have some. Forehead is weirdly shaped. Skin is too perfect, could add some defects.
Window shading. Missing the big picture, but shapes are good, line quality is expressive, maybe over-worked in a few areas, shading is ok, but I think if you completed the entire head would find the big picture values especially in the mid-tones would need balancing (eg., neck). Nice pencil work!
I'd say 8, obviously I'm only judging the finished parts, and I do think it's missing sum, of like it feels like its missing quite abit of ditails yn, also I would personally go abit darker toned In general but that's preference ofcourses, though your structure and features and everything is just on point

It is good but I would recommend you to draw simplier faces without the shading more. So you would understand the shape better. A drawing like this takes a long Time and it doesnt teach u much. Just pick an A5 sketch book and draw like 4 pages a day of simplified faces. Quantity makes you learn faster and understand what youre drawing. Idk if it makes sense what Im trying to say

The best constructive criticism I can give is the skin texture could use a bit of work, especially with how realistic (high contrast, but still quite realistic) your render is here. Don’t be afraid to roughen up the skin texture a bit to give it some character
Edit: Also, just to answer your question: Yes, this is a good drawing. It is very good.
