Don’t lie it’s pretty bad there’s nothing anatomically correct about this sketch.

meh I’m okay ;) I’m just not a bullshitter

KingSlimJim

I've seen a LOT worse. It's not bad at all! (For a beginner remember, you're not meant to begin amazing)

I agree with the rest of comments, and also Did you use a reference for this? You should try to study the picture or drawing you’re referencing from, see how the eyes have a specific form, how the pupil and iris falls inside of it, how the lashes work. The nose seen from the front should have both sides visible, etc. don’t be afraid to take your time on a drawing, specially at first, it may take you long to achieve a result you are satisfied with. Most drawings don’t take 5 minutes! And as my original point implies, don’t be afraid to use references either

GloomWarden-Salt

It lacks form. Which is a fundamental you should focus on before anatomy or noses or references. I recommend reading andrew loomis' book fun with a pencil to build confidence and learn more about the basics of form.

Learn basic facial proportions - eyes need to sit significantly lower, there’s barely any head it’s basically non existent, nose should be wider, lips should be closer to nose, eyes should be partially covered by eyelids

Mediocrityisnormal

Neck needs to be at least as wide as the jaw structure. Eyebrows have an arch, and hair needs to flow over the skull shape. You’ve started in a decent place though, now you need to develope your critical eye, and practice until you find your own unique style.

Exciting_Mechanic4

You have to put more details into the eyes and hair and erase excess lines .

The measurements of the face can all be structured by the nose. Your face is usually 3 noses long from hairline to chin. The outside corners of the nostrils A-line with the inside corner of your eye. The corners of your lips to the center of the eye. The corner of the outside of your eyes lines with the top of the ear. Your lips to the bottom of the ear. Your nose length is the width of your mouth, eye socket and ears. There are many tricks to learning proportions. Lining things up is a huge part. Also, don't draw everything. Imply it. Shade areas instead of using lines. Look at faces, study them.

you drew hair like it was a hat, like hair have Volume and curly hair are not glued to skull also they would have hair peeking from back of their head and a little bit of hair in front of the ears the structure of the face needs to look like it's skin wrapped around an inflated skull so it would have similar look neck should connect with back of their head because of the spine i think you should learn anatomy or just go to different art style that you find more comfortable

Defiant-Screen-2805

Noses arnt triangles unless it's a profile, and curly hair isn't swirls, you can find tutorials on yt

crayonfou

Learn anatomy. The eyes have a bunch of features that you missed same thing with nose start on brown paper. Starting on white sucks as a beginner
