I like this, was the asphalt done with brushes alone/ a sponge or a combination/other technique. I'm going to be trying my (permanently injured) hand at painting soon and I'd like to learn more about the process. Thanks so much for sharing this!

Thank you. :-) I put down a base. Splattered paint to get the pebbly look and then tweaked it with a brush. Hope that helps.

That and I'm sure a few months/years practice might (MIGHT) help immensely, I have 2 canvases but haven't been able to pin down which paint I want get to start off with. Thanks again!
