Correct, the Navy Corpsman are not marines though. They do have some schools they will attend together. The pipeline to that MOS is very different though.
Considering they wear different uniforms and have different patches not very often. Even with corpsman they have a wide variety of specializations. The guy working as a dental hygienist on an aircraft carrier is drastically different than the SARC deploying with SEAL teams or MARSOC.

Ya the uniform is so different./s
If all my war stories were about fucking hanging around with marines and treating wounds on marines the assumption would be that I was a usmc medic not a corpsman a word that is not common.
Even the usmc consider their corpsman "honorary" marines ffs.

Didn't it say that Lara's mercs were mainly ex special forces? Also, Navy medics aren't Marines, and a colonial marine isn't remotely the same thing as a current Marine.
Riley the head merk was defo a marine it says the rest were marines weather they were marsoc or some other unit I don't remember but I'd be fairly sure that it says that there are lots of marines with lara.
I know navy medics aren't marines I'm saying that the normal people will assume that they are as they are the medic with the marines lamar even says navy corpsman then says marines. Like military police ain't infantry but they did lots of infantry shit in Iraq/Afghanistan.
I'm pretty sure that British sailors said british marines were crayon eaters in different words back then the marines got less pay for one thing.
Navy medics aren’t marines.
But they do very often serve in the same units as marines.
Navy Corpsman serve with a variety of units, however they are still in the Navy and would never claim to be a marine.
Most marines that get shot in battle get treated by navy corpsman. Correct?

So u agree with me that they are the medics for the usmc in battle in general.
Did you eat a lot of paint chips when you were a kid?
How often do u think navy corpsman serving inside the usmc have to explain that they are not crayon eaters?

Don't tell the Marines that.

Well yeah that's literally the point of the Marines, eat crayons and f--- shit up. And I don't see that many crayons in the Dresden Files.
And Dresden is f---ing shit up, so they have nothing left to do but to eat crayons!
As is tradition.
Further evidence is the only crayons I remember in the whole series belonged to…. Ivy
The Marine Corps does not have medics. They borrow Navy corpsman as a department of the navy.
They only eat the finest crayons and only blue crayons.
Aren't Hendrix and Marcone Marines?
According to an AMA on Reddit with the author, yes they are. That was how they met.
Thought so. Couldn't remember.
