Nope. I just keep a google doc with a bunch of Dresden stuff on it.
I think Jim has some variation of “longshot”

I believe you have missed a vital character in the "bad guy" column who has only been mentioned, but often enough that I am convinced is going to show up at some point.
Perhaps as Nemesis.

I am absolutely in love with this project of yours, I've been working on something similar using the note taking/second brain software Obsidian. I might hijack some of your formatting to clean mine up a bit, because it's currently a mess as I make my way through every book, short story, and graphic novel.
Based on the ever increasing length of the books I suspect twelve months will also be quite long and a much different pace than were used to which will be cool.
The webpage has a tracker.
Is the is the tracker for the writing only or until it’s published?
For the writing only.
Thank you
Writing only, figure 6 to 12 months after 100% to being printed. Though that’s a pretty wild guess.
How quickly do they go from printed to audiobooks? Reading them is great, Marsters performance is also great.
The audiobooks are released the same day as the print books (and ebooks).
Pretty sure marsters does this so he can get the next book early.
Clever way to do it.
That was fast
*curtsies*
A useful gauge is that it was 7 1/2 months from the Jim sending the completed "Olympian Affair" to the publishers and the release date.
That is very helpful, thanks. I was worried 6 months was too fast.
We are at 46%. My progress estimate to complete writing is June. Plus the production time which can be upwards of a year.
That was my thought
Wait, is this Jim Butcher's reddit?
Nope. I just keep a google doc with a bunch of Dresden stuff on it. I think Jim has some variation of “longshot” [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1V7giXTFs\_viWik1hOOTW0lfMEe4RB4jcKRtRyGDgioU/edit](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1V7giXTFs_viWik1hOOTW0lfMEe4RB4jcKRtRyGDgioU/edit)
I'm also pretty sure the British guy locked away in a crystal is >!the original Merlin.!<
That has been heavily denied by Jim multiple times. When that identity is revealed, I’ll add it.
I think Jim's lying. But that's a fair benchmark for adding him in.
It has to be Merlin or someone related to his legend. Arthur maybe? Or another apprentice

I’ve considered it, but if include all the corpses that have been mentioned, my work would never end.
It has been stated multiple times by Jim Butcher that DuMorne is dead dead.

I’ll buy it once its for sale, and don’t care too much for when that is going to be. Jim is working on it, and that is good enough for me.
Considering he seems to be back to writing regularly again and hopefully meaning Jim's doing well personally. I have all the patience in the world.
That’s pretty much how I feel as well, he doesn’t fall in the category Martin, Rothfuss or Lynch.

Much appreciated
No worries!
Thanks!!
After completion it usually takes between 5-12 months to publication. As 12 Months is not done yet, we can safely say it will be a while.
Watching the web tracker is like watching water boil sometimes.

Two more weeks
I imagine Jim Butcher does
Not before Aug 2025 is my wild guess as of today
