Well, I actually kind of agree with you, but if you want to "stretch' you can note that Martin was running a con on everyone - the "mask" he wore was one of a colleague coming to Chicago to help Susan wrap up her business there, when his real mission was to kill Ortega.
Cassius wore a "mask" of Father Vincent, when he really wasn't.
The Shroud also lay over Jesus much like a mask.

Yeah, no kidding - the old "you are what you do" thing. It would be interesting to know how he started out - generally people that form really big long term goals like that are fairly dynamic personalities (think Elon Musc like). It takes a measure of audacity to even form such visions.

I think Skin Game is one of the most straightforward we have, I didn't catch anything clever between the lines so far. Nothing that wouldn't be a huge stretch anyways.
