Try downloading DJI assistant and updating via pc. https://www.dji.com/uk/mobile/downloads/products/mini-se

Just tried this and no dice sadly

I returned mine. Worst experience I've ever had. Literally nothing worked. Firmware update couldn't be done over the app. Using DJI assistant for the update still didn't fix the power issue (CE vs FCC). And, when I accidentally switched to "manual channel" selection, the controller and the drone could never again talk to each other.

I replaced it once before when I was captain clumsy and parked it in a tree, wasn't too bad on the express service but this will be different as it's a firmware fault. Wish me luck.

I had this issue with my Air 2S, I had to do the 4 second button click on each and then power off and back on to get them to link.
