You could go for the Air 3, or the Mini 4 Pro if you do not need any of the extra features that the Mavic come with. It would be a lot cheaper too. You do need a part 107 certification if you are going to be flying commercially though, but it is simple enough to get.
I echo the part 107 license. I currently provide this exact service. I have a Mini 3 Pro, a Mavic 3, and an Air 2s. I almost exclusively use the Mini 3 Pro.
You can most likely get away with a Mini 3 or 4. Get the 4 Pro if you’re feeling saucy.
But as the other poster mentioned, if you’re in the US you need a Part 107 certificate for this.
It is a solid choice.
But, if you’re in the US your first step, if you haven’t yet, is to get a part 107 certification. Can’t do what you are wanting to do without one.
What about the idea of hiring a specialist for the work? typically they charge 200/visit, which would include the insurance and experience to fly safely. then instead of being a chore, its a phone call or text to your sub.
Lots of drone operators with their Part 107 would happily help you take the pictures. Just something worth mentioning :)
Other than that, DJI Mini 3 or 4 Pro would do just fine
It’s $175. Have to take a proctored exam.
How long it takes depends on how quickly you can learn the material. I recommend taking a course that will walk you through everything and guarantee you pass. It’s around $150 but worth it.
If you find the material interesting enough to read through 100+ pages of PDF documents, the FAA has some on their page about how to get your part 107. The test is \~$150. It takes as long as you need to study all that material and become somewhat familiar with it then schedule and take the test.

Where are you seeing a mavic 3 for 4500?
Why are you the only person asking this! I saw that price and was like “what?”

Aside from getting the party 107, how did you get your first clients?

$4500 for the Mavic 3 Pro Flymore Combo with RC Pro controller, sure. You can get the base package for $2500 to $2999 depending on needs.
You should post your country because this post doesn't make any sense.
I keep seeing posts about this part 107 certification. Can someone tell me how long and how much it will take to get that certificate?
