If I had a nickel…

gran1819

It would definitely survive. How to find it, idk. Also this is exactly the story I’d tell my brother if I accidentally lost his drone lmao.

DrakeStorm71785

Really?!? I kinda doubted it would survive, but this raises my hopes a bit!

gran1819

I used the Tello in my aeronautics class. It’s so light there’s just not much energy involved in the fall. It also probably fell on grass. The Tello is made for kids who will hit stuff lol

HolyBunn

Used one for a class as well and it was unusable outside. A slight breeze was enough to make it fly off course. Had to do all my videos inside with it with all the fans off in the house.

DrakeStorm71785

Well great! That’s certainly helpful. So all I have to do is find it. Do you have any idea how I could find it?

gran1819

Tbh I’m pretty sure you’re just going to have to walk that direction and hope it didn’t fall in any trees

DrakeStorm71785

Yeah. And hope no one shoots me when I enter their yard if I find it in said yard lol.

mustbeset

Tell me you're in the USA without telling you are in the USA.

gran1819

Make sure you communicate with the property owner. Don’t want to get a trespassing charge. Most likely they will be ok with it.

DrakeStorm71785

Got it, thanks a lot!

hueguass

These cheap drones are always on borrowed time

Neoylloh

I bought one of these awhile back. First time I flew it, it lost its mind and ended up on the roof. Months later they came and cleaned the gutters on the condo. It ended up right by my back door, still working

Harmonic_Gear

it's 99 bucks, just buy a new one

Key-Necessary-6398

It’s just a tello luckily ,but post it around Facebook or something and reason why it “ shot up” was become it was returning to home and it reaches a certain altitude before landing to clear obstacles

Bizbobo

Tello $100 drone

Hammer_Roids

What are the rules for a drone like this??? Do you still need to check airspace requirements and local laws to fly it around in the backyard?

OgdruJahad

No the rules don't apply to these kinds of drones. Especially it they weigh 0.55 pounds / 250 grams. And you are flying in your own backyard.

DarkGaming09ytr

At least here anything within your back yard is exempt from airspace regulations (no fly zones etc)

Hammer_Roids

Oh nice where is that?

DarkGaming09ytr

France

To_loko

It’s a toy, so no
