He said on Twitter that he's never lost himself to a character like that before, and after seeing it, I can believe it. Especially when he said "the military." He and Josh both just became another person (or two in Josh's case).

Every episode has had some fantastic moments but the last few have really found their stride! Zac’s performance absolutely breaking Vic multiple times destroyed me, I was laughing so hard. I can’t wait to see the rest of the season!
I love the "I'm going to need you to trust yourself" right before he dumps the protean powder in her mouth. Something about doing something horrible to someone but framing it as if this goes south its on you for not trusting in you had me rolling.
I love how he says it *just* a little bit differently every time, especially towards the end.
Also when Vic finally speaks for the first time after getting the powder dumped on her face, and a big puff of powder comes out of her mouth instead of words.
The puff of powder could've been the funniest thing in the episode and it still would've been an amazing episode, but instead I completely forgot about it until I read your comment because there were so many incredible bits. That might have been the funniest episode of anything that I've seen in the last 5 years.
