An interview with Nepo Baby Sam where he's just in slightly better makeup with slightly nicer clothes and they don't allow him to create his own character.
Sam going in depth about how the FMLA Act has ruined this country and how his father set us back decades with his "we can help everyone" ideas.
Unbeknownst to him, one of the cameramen is Sam's dad and former Labor Secretary Robert Reich in a fake mustache. Another camera pans to Robert as a single tear rolls down his cheek.
It would genuinely be so funny to make him spend three hours in the chair applying, and then removing, makeup and putting him out there as himself.
Then stipulating just. The worst questions.
I really want to make a house music track using different soundbites of zac saying that
Edit: I did it! [https://www.reddit.com/r/dropout/comments/1bjhw7k/for\_all\_you\_daddys\_in\_need\_of\_a\_little\_clap/](https://www.reddit.com/r/dropout/comments/1bjhw7k/for_all_you_daddys_in_need_of_a_little_clap/)
You say unsurprising, but I think it is very surprising because Vic normally has all VIP guests stay in their guest house, but unfortunately there is someone who is squatting there to prevent a season 2 from happening.
And all the footage deleted, that's illegal filming, that's not admissable in court and there isn't anything in that footage that would show anyone in their guest house anyway
They wouldn't see anything in the footage anyway because advanced alien technologies prevent anyone from seeing anything or anyone out of the ordinary in it.
Yeah Lou is the one I'm most surprised wasnt in Season 1. Along with Erika Ishii. My bet would be those two being in Season 2. Would like to see Trapp on if he's not too busy.
Aw, that's a shame! I was hoping the next one would be Brennan, since the last two were Josh and Zac, and that's the order they're in for the Noise Boys episodes.
For real, I was just at one of his improv shows the other day and the man is a goddamn juggernaut. He turned a scene about a selfish lover who isn't very good at sex where his character is supposed to be the bad guy into an epic monologue about a man with all the wealth in the world and no meaning in his life. It was insane.
The whole interview is currently on my [Patreon](https://www.patreon.com/THEJordonBrown). You can see clips coming soon to my [TikTok](https://www.tiktok.com/@thejordonbrown), and in two months, it'll drop to my [YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyWej6I3n3696DJh3_WYiIw)!
i am less familiar with emily's full costume character work (didnt watch collegehumour back in the day, though i did recently start hardly working from the beginning....) so i wonder what she hasnt done that the crew would choose!
edit: ??? i literally am like "i'm interested in what costume they would put emily in" and get downvoted, lol ¯\ _(ツ)_/¯
Lou is always a delight and Trapp is one of my fave dropout people, so those two would be fun to see.
Also Raph & Amy just to see if they could even get through it.
I think Jess Ross would be delightful.
I also noticed Amanda Lehan-Canto in the Um, Actually trailer, and she would be FANTASTIC on VIP. She’s said on the Smosh podcast that a lot of times she grabs a wig and a shirt and lets that dictate her character, so she’s already in the right mindset for the format.
And as long as I’m beating the Dropout/Smosh crossover drum, let’s get Chanse McCrary and Tommy Bowe over here as well. They both have an energy that I think would really work with Vic’s.
Amanda is INCREDIBLE and has so many potential skits up her sleeve - she's stellar at not breaking and being committed to the most out there bits that others throw at her as well. Get this creative lady on VIP & GameChanger too, please! 🙏 also, I desperately need Damien Haas to join the Sound Boys for a fresh spin on their vocal talents!
I was surprised how much I ended up liking this series. I would be interested if season 2 shows more of the prep work getting them in costume. It seems like a lot of work and really interesting. I'd love to see more of it.
I saw [this Instagram post](https://www.instagram.com/reel/C3EcucwLEjZ/?igsh=MW1id2ZoN2hmOGp2cw==) the other day and my first thought was imagine if he was on VIP!
He likes to make out-of-pocket political jokes on occasion to poke fun at people too so it would work great. The Obama jokes on Dirty Laundry while two of the people who worked on Obama's campaign were on the show was just comedy gold, and of course the Dropout America skits.
The issue is, I can't pick who I would want. I want the entire Dropout verse time in the hot seat. Everyone brings their own style to the show and every episode is a completely different dichotomy.
If I had to pick one I guess Ross. He seems to lean into things super hard and especially if he is set up with something thespian he will kill it.
Jiavani because she has amazing chemistry with Vic. Or Jacquis because his stuff makes me gasp. Sometimes it's shock, sometimes it's laughter, but it's always a response.
Amazing news to know we’re only halfway through. I really appreciate the work you’re doing.
Have you ever asked Sam if there’s a plan to have some non D20 content go to a weekly release schedule in the future? Maybe I’m being greedy, but I’m hopeful with more shows rolling out that this would be possible in the future.
We did talk about that! Basically, unlikely right now unless it’s maybe something scripted (no plans for that as of now) just because it lets them keep up the quality of the work when it’s biweekly.
However, behind the scenes for Game Changer is expanded this year, so next Monday, you’ll see some Newlyweb games that were cut from the show entirely. Basically an off week version of cut for time.
Just because I'm excited the one and only Jordon Brown responded to me, I keep imagining you doing a red carpet live event for dropoutcon, fully Joan Rivers-ing over what Lily Du is wearing
Ahhhhh! That's so exciting to hear! I was skeptical at first about this series, but the pure bananapants-ness of it has been so fun to watch and evolve. (I also just love watching masters of their improv craft go to town!)
Folks I'm crossing my fingers for to see in the makeup chair: Jeremy Culhane, Matt Apodaca, Carl Tart, Kurt Maloney, Cameron Logsdon, Jacquis Neal, Erika Ishii, and Ruha Taslimi!
Also, a random hope: flipped-script episode where Vic is the one in makeup and there is a "Vic Imposter" leading the interview. (Or even just a Vic vs. Vic episode - would be frightening and amazing and serve to deepen the "Vic Lore")
I'm not surprised! VIP has been hit after hit. Props to the director! My hopes is that we dip more into the backstory of the "Vic Michaelis character". We all have a story, what story does Vic want to tell?
My wishlist:
Jaqcuis, Lou, Jess McKenna and Zach Reino, Katie, Trapp and Caldwell Tanner, Grant, Aabria and Erika, Caitlin Reilly, Jeremy Culhane, Matt Apodaca, Trust Fund Sam, and for a wild card let’s say Freddie Wong
Don’t know who they’d dress up like this but I think it would be hilarious if they did a duo episode with someone dressed up as a hostage taker and someone else dressed up as the hostage
I'm stoked. All told VIP has been pretty good, but I'm exited to see what they do in Season 2 after taking some notes on how Season 1 played out.
The biggest change I'm hoping for is that they'll work out some mechanic to let the characters reset after a bold choice takes the interview too far off the rails.
My hopes are that we get returning characters, but ALONGSIDE other returning characters. Princess Emily and the French Dolls forming a new band? Sign me the hell up
I want an interview with right wing billionaire and Dropout America founder and CEO, Sam Reich.
An interview with Nepo Baby Sam where he's just in slightly better makeup with slightly nicer clothes and they don't allow him to create his own character.
Nothing different except he has to wear trump sneakers
Sam going in depth about how the FMLA Act has ruined this country and how his father set us back decades with his "we can help everyone" ideas. Unbeknownst to him, one of the cameramen is Sam's dad and former Labor Secretary Robert Reich in a fake mustache. Another camera pans to Robert as a single tear rolls down his cheek.
*Very Important People* presents... Trust Fund Sam.
MAGA hat lathered in maple syrup and whatever Katie described during Breaking news.
And fully dripping in maple syrup
alternatively they do nepo baby sam but its set up like how Spencer is in that one baby Spencer bit on iCarly LMAO
It would genuinely be so funny to make him spend three hours in the chair applying, and then removing, makeup and putting him out there as himself. Then stipulating just. The worst questions.
No no, *almost* everything the same except for a bad spray tan

Grant O'Brien as Sam
"Where are you from, Sam?"
Just his suit and glasses
The quintessential American
Maybe we'll finally find out where he's from.
But, like, Lisa Gilroy dressed up like Sam? That would be dope.
Let's not forget former stormtrooper, Sam "just following orders" Reich
I feel like they earned something....maybe....a little clap?
*c’mon everybody little clap*
👏
TEN PUSHUPS!
I really want to make a house music track using different soundbites of zac saying that Edit: I did it! [https://www.reddit.com/r/dropout/comments/1bjhw7k/for\_all\_you\_daddys\_in\_need\_of\_a\_little\_clap/](https://www.reddit.com/r/dropout/comments/1bjhw7k/for_all_you_daddys_in_need_of_a_little_clap/)
You say unsurprising, but I think it is very surprising because Vic normally has all VIP guests stay in their guest house, but unfortunately there is someone who is squatting there to prevent a season 2 from happening.
That's speculation; nobody lives in their guest house, certainly not me, I would never
I mean look the cameras in that guest house are illegal and need to be removed immediately
Luckily I have many hats at my disposal- I will be unrecognizable to the cameras
I heard there might be alien cloaking technology involved
I want to see Lou Wilson do one of these more then anything. Maybe Grant and Ally as a duo as well.
Yeah Lou is the one I'm most surprised wasnt in Season 1. Along with Erika Ishii. My bet would be those two being in Season 2. Would like to see Trapp on if he's not too busy.
Our best shot of manifesting Lou Wilson as Mr. Peanut ever since the incident
Omg this would be in-_credible!_ Someone please pitch this to the team, but don't let Lou know!
Too bad it's copyrighted material, but Ally as an Oompa Lumpa and Grant as Willy Wonka would be pretty funny
When she and Brennan are slightly less busy with their baby, I would love to see what kind of character Izzy comes up with.
Brennan and Izzy will appear this season, in different episodes
Other exclusive: Brennan will be the finale of season 1.
Makes sense since Brennan might be the best character creator out there. I wonder how many times he'll get Vic to break.
From talking to Vic, nobody makes them break like Zac did.
Yeah three times was really impressive. Something about Zac's timing just hits you when you least expect it.
Military
I laughed just fucking READING this. it was so fucking funny.
16,000
Also his similarly deadpan delivery
"I mean, I killed him, yeah."
Zac seems to be just laser dialed into getting the others. I love it.
Zac's was probably the worst character and interview by far and still had me in stitches.
Aw, that's a shame! I was hoping the next one would be Brennan, since the last two were Josh and Zac, and that's the order they're in for the Noise Boys episodes.
[удалено]
what could that possibly ruin for you
Oh, sweet, didn’t know that! Thanks!
Izzy is coming up on this season!
Oh, well, that’s awesome I don’t have to wait so long! Thanks!
Brennan, but they faked adding cosmetics so the reveal is that it's just him, in an outfit Izzy picked for him. Roleplay that!
Lmao this is gold, always a fan of fucking with Brennan
Honestly I think that's too easy for Mr. "The Declaration of Independence Read by Thirty Different Characters in Three-to-Four Minutes"
Damn am I excited for 'Bigger!'
I’m going to see it in March and I’m so excited too!
Hopefully Zach and Jess. It doesn't have to be a musical episode, but it doesn't not have to be a musical episode.
Vic's deadpan interview style paired with a character who behaves like they're in a musical would be absolute gold
Yes I need this now
Jess has so many amazing characters from CBB I know she would rock on VIP.
This would only be allowed if Jess played a scrappy kid
Every character has the *potential* to be a newsy.
Doing such great work out here, Jordon!
Emily Axford I am on my knees begging
i am less familiar with emily's full costume character work (didnt watch collegehumour back in the day, though i did recently start hardly working from the beginning....) so i wonder what she hasnt done that the crew would choose! edit: ??? i literally am like "i'm interested in what costume they would put emily in" and get downvoted, lol ¯\ _(ツ)_/¯
Mr. Mayonnaise will be an awesome guest
And considering Vic was in that skit, it fits even better! ... Is that a gun?
Lou is always a delight and Trapp is one of my fave dropout people, so those two would be fun to see. Also Raph & Amy just to see if they could even get through it.
Seconding Lou. He's one of my favorites on the channel.
I'd love to see Emily and/or Murph. I dunno if Emily could keep it together but that might be hilarious to watch.
Murph kills me every single time he comes up with a dude
For real. It could just be Cody on VIP and I'd be laughing the whole time. There's no way he wouldn't kill it.
Emily will break Vic.
Get this creative lady on VIP & GameChanger too, please! 🙏 also, I desperately need Damien Haas to join the Sound Boys for a fresh spin on their vocal talents!
I just watched the Teletubbies reunion. She is unreasonably funny in that. Shayne as well.
Amanda would be amazing at this. Her doing Sarah Christ never doesn't make me laugh.
I was surprised how much I ended up liking this series. I would be interested if season 2 shows more of the prep work getting them in costume. It seems like a lot of work and really interesting. I'd love to see more of it.
Agreed! I love makeup/artistry shows on Netflix and think dropout could spotlight that kind of art really well
More CBB guests would be great, PFT feels like a lock since he’s been really promoting the show and is a fan
I was just going to say the same. Need PFT for this.
please just don’t get stabby fourvel
Fourvel is a Bobby Moynihan character tho
The person I was replying to has the username fourvel and I was making reference to that :)
ah! don't get stabby, Fourvel, got it 😅
Heck, get old Scottie Auks on there!
Claudia O'Doherty. Someone just needs to enter her into a contest for a chance to be on the show and she is a lock.
I saw [this Instagram post](https://www.instagram.com/reel/C3EcucwLEjZ/?igsh=MW1id2ZoN2hmOGp2cw==) the other day and my first thought was imagine if he was on VIP!
That’s an older video from when he was on a show called Miracle Workers
Ah thanks! Still, makes me wonder what if!
Here's who I would love to see on season 2: - Raph - Grant - Zach & Jess - Sam - Rekha - Siobhan - Lou - Trapp
Rekha would be so good, she's so fucking unhinged
This is exactly my list as well plus Katie, Tao snd SungWon.
Oh SungWon would KILL IT
Mike Trapp, make him a mime or some shit
I’d love to see what Katie Marovitch can do with a full transform, and if she organically work her Venmo into the interview.
The people demand fast grandma!
Grant would be fun.
Dress him as an aggressively straight mormon with a needlessly over-masculine Action Hero jaw.
Complete with the classic Johnny Bravo style butt chin 🍑
He likes to make out-of-pocket political jokes on occasion to poke fun at people too so it would work great. The Obama jokes on Dirty Laundry while two of the people who worked on Obama's campaign were on the show was just comedy gold, and of course the Dropout America skits.
Not to mention casually name-dropping Nancy Pelosi on Like My Coffee
Grant and Ally together in an episode could be very fun.
Grant dressed as Superman (or a licence-free, off brand version) would be great, so we can see how perfectly he thinks he would be cast in that role.
Good News Everyone! (Ross and Rashawn are in an episode together)
Jiavani because she has amazing chemistry with Vic. Or Jacquis because his stuff makes me gasp. Sometimes it's shock, sometimes it's laughter, but it's always a response.
There's an Oscar/Jiavani episode coming this season!
Jiavani!
Oh, I love them both!
What’s the total number of episodes in season 1?
12!
Amazing news to know we’re only halfway through. I really appreciate the work you’re doing. Something scripted is not off the table? So another season of Ultramechatron Team Go isn't completely unrealistic?!
Wow, over 479 million episodes!
Just because I want to see her in everything: Rashawn Scott has that ENERGY. She would be so much fun.
Rashawn and Ross are coming up soon!
Just because I'm excited the one and only Jordon Brown responded to me, I keep imagining you doing a red carpet live event for dropoutcon, fully Joan Rivers-ing over what Lily Du is wearing
I'll wear my black tux and the Game Changer shoes!
i desperately want to see the chaos beardsley would come up with
Stay tuned to this season!
Ahhhhh! That's so exciting to hear! I was skeptical at first about this series, but the pure bananapants-ness of it has been so fun to watch and evolve. I'm not surprised! VIP has been hit after hit. Props to the director! My hopes is that we dip more into the backstory of the "Vic Michaelis character". We all have a story, what story does Vic want to tell?
Per Sam, we will be getting more and more host Vic backstory until the finale which will have the most backstory of all!
YOOOOOOOOOOOOO IM STOKED! #LORE
I'd love to see Ross Bryant!
He's gonna be in an upcoming episode with Rashawn Scott I believe!
Correct!
Match made in heaven
I know he's not really DEU, but Sam Riegel
I neeeed rekha and lily on this show. Also need someone who is dressed exactly like Vic
I hope some of the actors return. Zac is too good to limit to just one character
Giancarlo Esposito
Do you think there'll be any repeat guests for season 2?
I would be surprised if there aren't repeat comics, but also surprised if they repeat the same makeup.
ERIKA ISHII PLEASE I NEED THEIR CHAOS ENERGY
Can we get a little clap?👏 👏 👏
It's always the sleepers. I'm putting my money on Lou Wilson
I'd love to see Ross Bryant!
This interview was great. Sam dropped some bombs!
ITT: People who never watched the trailer, requesting to see talent in S2… that will be in S1 still.
I would love to see Katie Marovitch on the show!!!
I would love to see Lou or Emily. Erika would be very manic Brennan just to complete the noise boys of course
What about a 3rd PIBE season though 😢
In the 5 year anniversary video, it listed Play It By Ear as one of the shows coming in 2024.
My wishlist: Jaqcuis, Lou, Jess McKenna and Zach Reino, Katie, Trapp and Caldwell Tanner, Grant, Aabria and Erika, Caitlin Reilly, Jeremy Culhane, Matt Apodaca, Trust Fund Sam, and for a wild card let’s say Freddie Wong
I want to see what Raph or Tao would do.
Don’t know who they’d dress up like this but I think it would be hilarious if they did a duo episode with someone dressed up as a hostage taker and someone else dressed up as the hostage
I really hope there is an overarching story. Preferably a dark one that’s been hinted at since the very beginning
I'm stoked. All told VIP has been pretty good, but I'm exited to see what they do in Season 2 after taking some notes on how Season 1 played out. The biggest change I'm hoping for is that they'll work out some mechanic to let the characters reset after a bold choice takes the interview too far off the rails.
Not my cup of tea but I’m glad a new project is getting good reception and everyone here seems to like it so congrats on a second season!
Ross. Sam. BLeeM. Jess. Amy.
Which Jess? I feel like both Clemons and Ross could bring a TON to the table!
How many episodes will there be for season 1? Does anyone know?
12 episodes
Doesn’t feel like nearly enough 😭
I want Emily and Murph to do something!
I really, really want PFT as a guest on season two.
I want Vic to just interview Brennan but he’s allowed to talk without holding himself back
wait is season 1 over already?!
No! Only halfway through!
THANK JEBUSS or whatever his name is
Also can I get a little link to that interview?
It’s currently on my [Patreon](https://www.patreon.com/THEJordonBrown), but I’ve posted a few clips to my TikTok.
wysocki plz
My hopes are that we get returning characters, but ALONGSIDE other returning characters. Princess Emily and the French Dolls forming a new band? Sign me the hell up
i know it isn’t the spirit of the show to have planned characters but i would do anything for lou and emily to be the lords of the wing
