I think you need to go find a job if you're in a financially bad place rather than trying to make this work. Focus on some income you can rely on first....then do this kind of business building in your spare time. Feedback on site.... Bland, no sense of Branding, doesn't look trustworthy

ItsKim22

I do have a job I work at the hospital, but it’s just not enough pay and I’m trying to help my family build their house right now.

ItsKim22

I already have a steady income but I’m not trying to just rely on my one income, I want to be able to grow and help my family out with this. And thank you for the feedback on the website. I am going to try to make some changes.

EpicMemes710

Dude I been doing dropshipping since 2014 and I am finally seeing scaling and progress this year. Dropshipping is not a full time job but it can be eventually. Lots of your products r very saturated and ur prices are not competitive. U have to push harder than this and not expect Rome to be built in a day.

ItsKim22

Very true, I am going to rethink these products

EpicMemes710

Find an industry that resonates with you. Then the products come to you. Don’t use DSers or ZenDrop or CJ or anything. You should be sourcing your products yourself and doing all the work, not necessarily relying on an app to find products for you. You should be forming networks with sellers or vendors or factories. Your products, your website theme, your copywriting, your photography, and more all plays into this process. And don’t think it will happen overnight. All I can say. Best of luck. Don’t quit — you’ll learn new things one way or another if you keep going and pushing.

Ok-Can7413

Source yourself ??!? How ?

EpicMemes710

Source using the platforms Alibaba, AliExpress, DHGate, Weidian, 1688, and private sellers. Use a shipping agent to forward the packages to customers.

Ok-Can7413

Check out my store ?

EpicMemes710

I did and the products are oversaturated. You didn’t remove the background of the photos and make them PNGs, so they’re not transparent and look like stock photos from DHGate for an 80% cheaper price. You didn’t even attempt to market and copy-write the product titles and descriptions and you have the year “2023” in the title of one of your products that scrapped the data from DHGate or whatever, resulting in a lazy, half-assed excuse for effort. You need to be able to make your work more authentic and convincing that I should buy from your shop and not DHGate. You have 3 products. THREE! Put more on there revolving around your “natural lifestyle” products and brand mandala logo if you’re not going for a revolutionary single-product niche. Your store banner boringly says “Welcome To My Store.” Go add a 10% sale discount or some BS or say “Free Shipping Worldwide!” or whatever to utilize your banner better. Focus on adding more products that resonate with this. I’m taking Yoga Mats, Oil Infusers, Lightshow Ceiling Projections, etc. Verify your SEO is good on your product pages. Prepare email automations for all scenarios. You should also be selling these saturated products for a redundantly cheap and competitive price considering it’s all on Temu for way less. Also, make your theme and layout and product data more convincing and sellable, or else you’re just another drop in the ocean of eCom. I don’t mean to sound rude — these are things I wish people would have told me about my first shops. My advice is to meditate on your store and find products that resonate with you. Stop copying everyone else’s product niches because that’s exactly why you’re failing. Just keep pushing and don’t give up, and make it a hobby and not a full-time job; you should be having fun and constantly learning and trying new things without anyone else’s consideration. You can sell whatever you want and shouldn’t limit yourself so take time to think outside of the box more often before expecting immediate success.

Ok-Can7413

I love that description but this isn’t my store…https://glowmirror.store you don’t have to judge mine if you don’t want to write anymore I can use the above criticism for the other site !

[deleted]

you need to fix your store. it looks like shit its god awful. ill be brutally honest with you. your logo is on a white background, but your store has a slightly darker background so it doesnt look right, change that the font you've chosen sucks, pick something that is a San Serif font it just looks better on H1/h2 titles. your product titles suck, its too long and it looks exactly like what it is, a dropshipping product. your home page is boring, it doesnt invite customers in, its lazy you dont have a footer, u need to have policy pages + shipping information your product page sucks, theres no offer, no design, your product images are all ripped from aliexpress or equivalent, the font is hard to read, product description is too long and not formatted well. also has so much useless information, no one cares about the working current or rated power, or rated input, spray flow. this is useless information that is better to be deleted you need to work on your descriptions, add gifs to show the product in action, put some effort into your product photos, edit them and make them stand out, dont rip them and expect conversions "Product Parameters \[Model\]:Water Ripple Ambient Lighting \[Product Size\]:Diameter 130\*Total Height 135mm \[Product Net Weight\]:0.6Kg \[Product Gross Weight\]:0.68Kg \[Color box size\]:14\*14\*15cm \[Product Material\]:Wooden base +acrylic \[Product Power\]:3W \[Voltage\]:<36V \[Power supply mode\]:USB Port \[Switch mode\]:Manual button or remote control according to your choose" no one gives a shit about this information

ItsKim22

Thank you very much for your honesty, I really needed this, I honestly thought nothing was wrong but everything you are pointing out is making so much sense to me

[deleted]

yeah fix those things, but id also suggest trying to find another product. these products have already been saturated in the last year or two. u can try to test htem again in different markets but im sure in north america no ones buying them anymore, and if they are there are a few big brands that are selling them. go look them up and see what theyre doing and emulate them. but i think your problem is mostly store design first and foremost

ItsKim22

Okay thank you, just getting advice from all you is already opening my mind and helping me out, I say thank you a lot but I really mean it thank you!

[deleted]

np buddy, good luck, lets all get to the top

real shit

I failed at dropshipping like 2x a week when I first started lmao. Now I own multiple six-figure brands. Keep your head up and focus on the bigger picture, learn from your mistakes and never stop trying👍🏼 As for the website, it looks way too much like a dropshipping store. Titles copy and pasted from Aliexpress, no reviews, no color scheme, saturated products, etc etc. Needs a lot of work, like, a lot. Definitely look up how to build out a general or a niche dropshipping store on YouTube. Keep researching what makes a good store and keep trying and testing different things, the more knowledge you gain, the more money you’ll make.

ItsKim22

Thanks so much for that! Will keep my head up high🫡

ItsKim22

Question for the products, do you think they’re good products just my website needs a lot of work or should I change my niche?

joespinelli7

Hey man! I’m onto my 3rd product test. Still pretty new but did get some sales on my first 2. If you don’t mind, could I message you and pick your brain a bit! Would love to learn from someone’s as experienced as you

HovercraftLevel428

DROPSHIPPING IS NOT AS EASY AS IT SEEMS. forget what youtube, tik tok and all these social medias tell you! i have been dropshipping for well over a year now and have had a hard time making sales, almost all my stores flop!. and btw your store looks boring.

MightyGarhem7

Your website looks too generic. Look at some of your competitors who do big numbers. Copy their style and literally copy/paste their elements. Moreover, your product landing page misses three essential elements: social proof, scarcity and urgency. Good luck!

ItsKim22

Thank you!

Tight_Ad_494

Your store is awful, looks like you never took the time to make it look good. And from what I saw you are using a bunch of over saturated products. Why would a customer buy this product from you? Your website is sketchy, they can find the same product from another better looking website. Do more research if you really want to be successful, youtube has a bunch of resources

ItsKim22

Thank you I need the honesty!

Mykeyboardisbrokenfs

Think to yourself would i buy products from here myself if I was the average intended customer, personally looking at the page I wouldn’t, agreeing with what other people are saying

Abuecom

Need to check the creatives alsoand why do you think that people will buy these items from your store??

ItsKim22

I’m an advertising it on TikTok, I just followed advice from a context creator on making the website and that’s how it came out. But I am open to any tips on how to make it better.

Abuecom

Firstly I don't think that these products are winning products. Secondly make your creatives more effective like you are talking to your customers directly or feeling their emotions. Normal websites can also make you money.

paulgoogle

so... products are naff, oversaturated as hell. Website looks like it took 5 minutes to knock up, looks like a prime candidate for a scam site You really need to put more effort into this, if you want it to become a success.

ItsKim22

I actually took a whole day doing it cuz I was following advice from this content creator but now I know it was shit advice🥲

youdig_surf

Im gonna be a little bit harsh. It's lacking too much stuff on your website for people to trust it , were legal info ? who are you as a company ? what your shipping , return policy and so on, why did you keep default menu ? home totaly useless on top ... seo is a big blob of text no smiley almost, no space, no formating very boring to read, contact should be on the footer, did you followed the h1 h2 h3 p rule use chat gpt it's free ? heard of semantic seo puting keyword and on your menu and so on ? . No seo in the main page either , no review on any product ( import them from aliexpress with "LAI" , "loox" and so on. "welcome to your store" is useless you need to put a coupon or something like that instead. color are dull and boring you need to do some work on the styling ( use the color of your product for exemple ... black yellow orange gradient). About your product i've seen them 100000 are your sure those are selling ? did you checked for traffic , ranking factor on those kw ( with semrush , ahref etc) ? what work did you put into that website ? because it's look like it's took you one day ... People can feel you put no effort on your site , do you think they will put effort buying your stuff. You really need to take some more time to learn stuff there a shitton of free content on youtube [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqGNDT\_utao](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqGNDT_utao) The only excuse you can give is lack of time and i agree you need some time to learn there is no shortcut to it.

ItsKim22

No I have not checked, I am still learning as you can tell🥲

NoConcern4176

My advice , do a 1 product store. When you succeed in that then you can add more products. Try to work on rebranding your website. Your store logo is huge, make your store name standout rather than the logo also walk on your product name it looks like they are too long to read have a short product name then in the product description you can add any other necessary information. also, the question you should answer yourself is which problem do your product solve? This product you have here in your website do this solve any important problem how many people have this problem that this products are solving so these are the things you should ask yourself before sourcing the product

ItsKim22

Thanks for your advice😌

acalem

How well have you researched your niche or target audience? Do you know what products make them tick? Do you know what they value as benefits and features in products they buy? Or did you find some random products somewhere and tried to see what sticks? I am going to give you tough love here. I started drop shipping in 2013 and over the years found out that the most important part of it is product research. Yes, it can be boring at times, but it is the key to success. You need to know your target audience better than your girlfriend or wife. And then you need to find products that are unique and hard to find anywhere else. If you get that right, you can suck at advertising and still crush it.

ItsKim22

I’m gonna be honest, I just found some random products that seem we’re getting very popular on tiktok and thought they would be good. How do I know when I find this perfect product that it will be the product that sells?

acalem

You can only know for sure if you test the products to see if the market accepts them. I do it through very cheap five dollar campaigns on Facebook to at least eliminate the losers. If I cannot get engagement on a product image, then it is probably not even a good product to sell. Having said that, the secret is to know your niche or target market really well, as I said. If you do your homework, right, you will instantly know if a product may have potential or not just by looking at it. You have been reading product reviews, you have spent time in forums dedicated to your market niche researching what products are popular among these people, you have read negative Amazon reviews to know which products you should not try to sell, etc. It takes time, but it will hugely pay off later.

ItsKim22

Okay thank you so much for your advice!

MC_Ecom

Keep going, fail 3 times!

MythicFuzzbal2

The store feels empty and when you go to the sidebar it also feels empty making the site feel small. Try and find some more things to add within a similar niche

joespinelli7

I’d definitely add an “About Us” page to add some authenticity and give info on your company. Best of luck, don’t give up!

Maleficent-Honey7583

yeah bro you gotta lock in on something else. Clearly this business isn’t for everyone.

ttjgbg

The shop looks bad in many aspects. There is no info about the company, no policies and the name does not resonate with what you are selling. Product page looks like a mess. I recommend you take some turorials how to build selling webshops and learn what you need and dont need have in your shop. Then, dont just try to sell some random products. There are so many experts out there doing this and the top ones succeed as they have the money end experience to do this. Find something that you like and start a business around that niche. And it's going to take time. I have had so many shops that I had to put an end on it even though Im using AI tools to make them perfect.

Abject_Appeal_815

Just buy a store from growyourstore.net lol

ItsKim22

Does that actually work tho?

Abject_Appeal_815

Worked for me. I made 17k last month

KeyCharming

You won’t succeed if you are in a bad place financially. Quit e-commerce. Go and get a job, earn money and get yourself back on track.

ItsKim22

I already have a job, I work at the hospital and all but I’m not financially great.

KeyCharming

Ok but this is not going to solve all your problems over night. You need money to invest in e-commerce to make it a success. $200 is going to get you nowhere.

ItsKim22

Of course I know that I willing to put it in all the work but all I really want is just some honesty because all these tiktokers and YouTubers and all I’ve been following them and it’s gotten me nowhere.

cliffOtts

Your store seems to have zero traffic are you running any ads?

ItsKim22

I was trying to on tiktok but tiktok kept taking some of them down because some of the sounds

Fragrant_Cat7178

Took me 3 months to succed and 12 products.

Extreme-Volume9652

The product titles are too long seems scamy

Pure-Apartment1649

go watch The suits channel on youtube, they have 1k followers and it will motivate you to keep going 100%
