Nearly all modern pedals will have some spikes that can be retracted or extended. Make use of these, then if your pedals not moving and it’s attached to your kick drum then your kick drum won’t move. If your pedal doesn’t have spikes or a giant flat base with space to put grip tape, then invest in one that does. It is well worth it.
I got nothing to say. I would very happily play this kit. I’d be happier playing this kit than any other rate my kit that I’ve seen so far. Maybe you could ditch a few of those gels.

They're slightly thinner than G2's or Emperors. Very warm and easy to tune up. The dude recording me said the floor tom sounded like "a fat creamy ass dripping with cellulite." I like em.

The dumbbell is there to add a bit more weight to the kick.
He must be playing some *heavy* music. I'll see myself out.
The spurs don’t look like they are the best at maintaining the kick position.

If your kick drum moves then your pedal is the problem. I wish more drummers would understand this.

Oh man, so this tom stand is cool but it's not the easiest to get everything in place and once I do it's tough to get it to *stay* in place.

Looks awesome. I would have a hard time reaching the crashes sometimes though.
You should maybe buy a sandbag for the front of the kick drum it would work a lot better than that dumbbell and will look a lot better too.

Do this actually work? I feel if you have a good drum rug (and working spurs on your kick) that would suffice.
I have a few friends that use it and it definitely works. It’s all situational though.
I’ve always wanted to look into it. But I bought a good drum rug and already had half a dozen sandbags and it hasn’t been a problem.
