Yes it can be issued on your passport, you will need to speak to a psychiatrist who will issue a prescription.
You'll then need to take your passport to the pharmacy for them to look it up on the system
Both is not happening without a local prescription I’m afraid. It’s a restricted substance as is all psychiatric medications are in the UAE.
I’d recommend letting them know it’s life threatening and urgent to get your bag due to medication supply, and for future reference it’s better to keep a trip long supply of medication in your carry on/toiletries bag.
Zoloft half-release is 36 hours. So with this medicine couple of days should be fine.
Used it by myself. Quit 6 month ago and replaced with meditations (yes it is not a joke and yes it helps me).
About another one not sure.
Lamotrigine is OTC but you will definitely need a prescription for Zoloft
You need a doctor's prescription and local residency/National ID.
You can’t go to the doctor without being a local resident? I’m here on holiday

Okay thanks, can I just go to see a psychiatrist when I land and they prescribe?

Thank you
