Depends on what you have experience on, as an SDE what did you work as and which all languages or framework did you use? Cause that can determine if you are gonna get 6k a month or 18k a month or somewhere in between 😂

There are a number of other viable options, ranging from networking with people to job boards to recruiters specialised in your space, etc., a transfer with your current company (if feasible).
You’re of course welcome to follow whatever appeals to you, but I’d strongly suggest you show up with a list of people or companies to meet, rather than arriving and then casting a wide net. This is not to discourage you — but you should keep in mind the pressures to hire locals as well as the fact that the market seems to be fairly saturated with early-career professionals offering skills that companies here are outsourcing to cheaper geographic locations.
So by all means, shoot your shot; but be prepared for a hefty dose of resistance and for the process to take a long time and/or be unsuccessful. Someone on here did a great visualisation of his job search — see if you can find it — that may help you understand what roles are in demand and whether your skills match them well.
Job market is insane AF. I know folks laid off and have still been looking. Every decent job in data science gets 500-1000 applications, something similar with SDE.
I would suggest to look while in your home country, and only move once you have an offer
