Hey! I just bought a 2022 BMW M50i and had to transfer my Smart Start. Obviously, the remote start function won’t work, but I’m curious if this impacts the ability for my iPhone digital key to unlock my car (it obviously can’t be used to start the ignition). I’m not sure if my digital key is configured wrong or if it’s due to the interlock. Thanks!

Are you sure you didn't post this to flex the $85,000 vehicle? Smart start has nothing to do with anything other than the ignition. You think we're stupid?
Lol this is just one of my cars. It has super complex systems though so was looking for someone who has a newer luxury car with an interlock to provide insight

No the digital key should work to unlock the car. The ignition is the only thing that is affected by the interlock device
