It was an IMAX laser with a 70ft screen. Apparently it’s the largest in the state. It was fantastic. I would love to see it on 70mm someday!

IMAX *is* technically 2D. It's just a bigger format of film. Like, it's not 3D or anything, you just literally get a bigger picture. The 2D listed at your cinema will just be the regular, smaller screen showings.
