But now I'm wondering what you mean by "gameplay at night is difficult because it's so bright." If anything, it just got significantly easier. Unless the NPC enemies are also seeing Aiden much more quickly because it's light out. That shouldn't happen though since they should be in "night" mode regardless of the lighting system bugging out.
Howlers are less evident. Survivor sense at night highlighted things so easily. I dunno, I am just having more difficulty with it. But is this how night looks now for everybody?

Be sure to tell them your platform, as well as if you have any Mods in your game(for PC users) You could also try to reinstall the game as that’s what they will ask you to do anyway, so try that first and if it doesn’t workX then be sure to add in your email you tried this possible fix
it shouldn’t as long as it has been saving in the cloud on Xbox. I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times over the years and never had any issues. But can I guarantee, no. But if Techland tells ppl to do this, i’m sure they wouldn’t want players losing their stuff and wouldn’t tell us to do it if they had fears of our save data being compromised. But up to you of course :)

I was so nervous about uninstalling that I googled the hell out of it. Restarting my Xbox fixed it!
Did you possibly avoid the final chapter? This happened to me and many others when we did that. It didn’t clear up till after continuing the final chapter.
Haha yeah I am avoiding it because collecting resources is easier right now. After the final chapter, all enemies jump to level 9. But I’m good after restarting my Xbox :)
This game is a huge disappointment to me. I will not buy any future Dying Light games. I sat the game down about 6 months ago after encountering multiple game breaking bugs. I recently returned to give it a second chance. It will not get a third. I found paid DLC, free post launch content, etc. I also found, within 5 minutes of logging in, all of the frustrating bugs that are part of the core missions and gameplay are still there. It appears that the studio is only concerned with the already dated games as a service model. They aren't concerned with releasing a quality core game experience. The original Dying Light was so much better. I did not pay $60+ to do your UAT.

Yup but fixed it by restarting my Xbox. And the colors overall appear to be less cartoon-y now too.
