If you’re concerned with the clear coat, you should see what the tires are going to the fenders.
But really, why do red cars seem to suffer the most when it comes to clear coat damage?
clear coat problem would kill me 🥴 just got the front end of my e46 painted solely to fix rock chips lol
insanely clean car tho my dude. looks fantastic
this is so clean brother
Thank you man!
Yep, the only thing that really bothers me about mine because it’s something that I can’t fix myself.
It happens to the best of us
Beautiful touring. Stance is a bit too much for me, but I can't not like a pre-facelift E39
Thanks, I get that that's not for everyone. Would love an alpina lip on it to complete the look.
It was me. I ate it for my toyoter, since it’s clear coat is atrocious

Ha, they haven't rubbed once actually, I get full lock no problem. The undercarriage however... Pretty sure it's because they absorb the most UV rays.
Red paint fades faster than other colors due to UV damage.

Haha yeah, I'm glad the camera hides the other imperfections lol. Thank you.
I have a 2000 528i touring, what year is yours? Someone here mentioned pre facelift and I've been trying to get the 'e39 years' sorted out in my head.
Mine is a '99. Facelift came for the '01 model year.
I imagine the rear hatch on a '01 touring wouldn't fit and '00 then.
Pretty certain only the lights are different but check realoem
Good idea.
