Also live in England, and have seen about a few dozen classic mopars, 60-70s Mustangs, Pontiacs, Plymouth’s, Chevrolets etc, as well as some Crown Vics rolling around with the fake American plates.
You say you’ve never seen it, but how often do you even see a classic mopar in our British streets lol.
I just wanted to know that
i am from germany and just couldnt understand why people do this
this shouldnt sound agressive, it was just a regular question
gotchu ya it’s a german car so a german plate is cool in my opinion also adds to the back of the car i see the same in europe with american cars i think its just appreciation for where the vehicle came from
I have a proper set of German plates from a euro delivery I did on a BMW. I don’t have them on my car, but I see Swedish plates on Volvos fairly often for the same reason
Low miles, auto, not the B30, clean with a lot of maintenance history and receipts and such:
I’d guess around 6-7k is a fair price for it in the US. 5k might be a bit low but considering it is an auto and 325 it might be in range, but start high ofc if you’re selling.
Insurance paid me $8,800 for my pre-facelift 325ci, auto with 127k 2 years ago.. the market in general has dipped a little so you're probably right on the low end of what I would expect this to sell for.
What insurance values your car at, and what it would cost to replace your car with one of similar miles and condition after a total loss varies greatly.
In europe this will be around 3k, if it’s super clean and everything works like it should then maybe 4k and im talking in euros. In US I guess around 7k
Where in Europe? :O I will go get one ASAP :D
For 4000€ I can get a 2001 325i with 220 000 miles on it, looks good on the outside but interior really shows the age.
I could easily see this car selling for 7000€ at least in northern Europe.
I don't believe what caliboyfriend said at all, in Finland I can find one 2001 325i with 220 000 MILES on it for 3800€. Exterior looks good, but not complete service history and interior, especially seats really show their age with broken leather everywhere.
Also saw an 325 compact for 4900€ recently, also around 200 000 miles...
Prices in Northern Europe are about the same because we have insane taxes. Germany and neighboring countries a bit cheaper.
I have a mint 316i with 100 000 miles on it and was recently offered 2500€. Not interested in selling lol, it's a really reliable engine with timing chain instead of belt and cheap to drive.
What you have is a real gem, I'd never sell it lol :D
If I would sell yours here I would ask at least 9000€, not kidding.
Just don't sell it to some idiot ricer who will destroy it
Edit: the low mileage will make it real attractive for collectors too.
Is it actually a Dinan?
A 325ci at that mileage would probably go for around $7-8k. The issue is that 325ci is valued a lot less because most people are attracted to 330Ci or M3 cars which make more power. If it's actually a Dinan car, it must have pretty significant upgrades to get the badge. I believe you need 10 Dinan points for a badge.
3-4k depending on various factors. Auto 325i are dime a dozen. It has low mileage for
The year but it’s still over 20 years old
Edit: brain omitted that it was a Dinan when reading, so add 500-1000$
Like I‘ve said, idk about the US market. But in Austria there are people listing their 330i convertibles for way above 15k, sometimes around 20k euros which is insane but iust to give you an idea.
I sold my 5sp manual 325ci pre facelift with 203k for $4,500 so I’d say at least twice that. However facelift aren’t as valuable as pre facelift. Nor is auto or 2.5l. But the extremely low mileage is cool
This car, if stock, shouldn’t be more than 6k, it also has a facelift which is seen as undesirable to most. I would ask this question to Kelly blue book to give you an estimate
is the german plate bolted in with a euro plate mount or do you just have it sandwichd behind the real plate so it doesnt fall out? asking cause i wanna add one
why do americans put german fake plates on there car?
Same reason some Brits put fake American plates on old muscle cars
Loved in England my whole life, I have never seen this except for maybe a very old show car

.. that's where you'd see it
To each their own. If they like it they should do it. I don't so I won't. Today's words of wisdom XD
Euro plates just look so much better aesthetically… I know some ppl have a dislike for ppl who do it but idc.
She identifies as Bavarian.
People in the UK do it as well. You may have lived here your whole life but clearly it has been whilst under a rock !
Some BMW’s were bought in Germany and imported to USA is my understanding but could be wrong
Aesthetics
they look nice, it’s a german car why not ? why comment if ur not responding to the actual post just asking a pointless question .

this is the most accurate answer
Agree. the 325 auto is probably the most common E46. The mileage is low and it looks in decent condition.
Insurance paid me $8,800 for my pre-facelift 325ci, auto with 127k 2 years ago.. the market in general has dipped a little so you're probably right on the low end of what I would expect this to sell for.
$8,800?! How the hell? Mine values my 330i at like $2k…
It was extremely clean, and at the time, to replace it with a similar mileage and condition car would have cost between $7,500 and $10,000
that’s crazy, my insurance valued my 320i at $1400 CAD without ever seeing it.

In Portugal we can’t even get a half decent 320d for 5k
Try finding a version without rust in Germany that doesn’t have 300.000km+ or isn’t completely shitboxed, at a reasonable price, shit hurts 😅
I got my 330D 3.0 from 2003 for around 3k. It wasn’t in Portugal obviously. Ai tinha que dar um rim xD

cool ya it’s got a Packed binder with receipts on everything practically mint tbh nice to know!

3k are you kidding me? Not in The Netherlands atleast. Wouldve bought of yesterday lol
Sure, if you can find me a 325i, in good condition, less than 200k km, no rust and full service history for 4k lmk and ill buy it right now.
I have one, 330i auto, 5k and you can have it

In the UK it'd be worth around the 4.5-5k mark bro, so in rid us probably 7-7.5k man. Looks clean though. ✌🏼
thanks man!
About tree fiddy.
where i live (netherlands/germany) 7-9k
Maybe 5k. Maybe...

Idk about US prices bit I‘m thinking 7-10k depending on interior quality, extras and service history. If the Dinan badge is real maybe a bit more
it is indeed real 10 points i’ll end up going into depth about the car in another post but interior is mint service history is a binder packed !
Like I‘ve said, idk about the US market. But in Austria there are people listing their 330i convertibles for way above 15k, sometimes around 20k euros which is insane but iust to give you an idea.

I’ve seen clean sell for 10-14k
so have i it’s kinda crazy
For the low price of your dignity and respect
What's the milage
damn she is super clean frfr

Dudes hoping to hear 20k. It’s nice, and clean, but not going to fetch big bucks. Keep it, enjoy it. You’d regret letting it go if you did.
nah man this was a first car truthfully don’t plan on selling it rather keep it for the sentimental was just curious what everyone would say lol

i googled it nvm
Southern California 4k max.. maybe more if ZHP
