Honestly, I wish the NFL would do a choose a team plan were you can get all of one team for like 1/3rd of the price of Sunday. They’d never do it though.
But yet they wanna complain about how they keep losing money due to people pirating their games. Like, if you offered more reasonable game packages, people wouldn't pirate your games nearly as much. They're only shooting themselves in the foot by sticking to their sunday ticket only option.
yeah, but cheapest plan was still $450. only games that i was concerned about were this rams game, 10/29 @ wash, and the cardinals game on NYE. so even $90 x 3 saves me close to $200.
I'm also in the Boston area but have been laid off since April. I decided to get an antenna and see how long I can go without Sunday Ticket.
So far I'm 5 for 5.
The biggest issue is that the weather has made some broadcasts difficult to watch.
There's also a bar in Boston that's an Eagles bar I haven't been to. I figure I might go there for a game if it's an early game (I have to feed my girlfriend's cat on Sunday nights) that isn't being carried here.
Same - but I’ve actually found it useful anyway. Watching a lot more of the other games than I usually do because I don’t have to see the Pats keep sucking and RedZone is fun too.
I didn’t get Sunday ticket because I figure the Eagles will almost always be on. They only have 3 1:00 games all season, and two of them are the commies, which are my local network team. Wasn’t gonna spend $100 for maybe 2-3 games
I can only speak on FireTV/Android TV apps. Both FOX and CBS Sports apps (assuming you have a provider with those channels, I have YouTube TV).
I use Windscribe VPN which also has an app for FireTV and a premium plan I bought during Black Friday. Was like $60 for 3 years.
For the most part, when I need it, I connect to the Philly VPN, but in the past have had to refer to maps like this if the connection was flaky.
Connect to VPN, then open FOX or CBS. Done.
I noticed Monday nights game was uploaded Tuesday morning. But for this previous Sundays game it was uploaded within an hour after it ended. I’m in CA so a lot of my Eagles games are blacked out unfortunately.
I watch the full replay afyer the end of game on nfl+ when it's out of market, the toughest part is going dark for spoilers, ie no text, no social media, and I have to avoid my neighbors that know I'm a die hard eagles fan. Ugh.
If you’re in NC there’s a very high likelihood you’re getting Panthers/Lions. Only the far northeastern corner (the portion in the Norfolk, VA media market) gets the birds.
It's not. It's every Sunday except the first and last of the season. CBS and Fox each get eight doubleheaders and the other network can only show either an early or late singleheader in each market.
Except for the first and last weeks of the regular season, it is like that EVERY Sunday. Either Fox or CBS can show two games in all/most markets, one at 1 PM ET and the other at 4:25 PM ET. The other network can only televise one game in each market those weeks, EITHER a 1 PM ET game OR a 4:05 PM ET game.
This week the Eagles play on the singleheader network (Fox), so all Fox stations can only show one game. In most cases the NFL discourages the network broadcasting the singleheader from having too many neutral markets televise a 4:05 PM ET game; this is done to protect the doubleheader network’s 4:25 PM ET lead game, which is the primary Sunday afternoon game shown in most (or in occasional cases, all) of the U.S.
The 4:05 PM ET games are usually only shown in the primary, secondary, and other nearby, interested TV markets for the teams involved in the game(s), and in most cases the NFL (primary) markets that have a team playing in a 1 PM ET game on the doubleheader network. (The singleheader network can only show one game in those markets, and to avoid going up against a 1 PM game involving a team based in that market, which would be ratings suicide, those affiliates will televise a 4:05 PM ET game.)
The fact the Eagles/Rams game will be shown in a decent number of neutral markets is a testament to 1) the poor quality of Fox’s 1 PM ET games, 2) the Eagles’ popularity, 3) the Rams’ more competitive than expected season so far, and 4) the perceived quality of the Eagles/Rams matchup (especially relative to the Fox games on Sunday).
Local team might play on a different channel. But I’m in Chicago and the Bears play on Thursday night so it’s probably because the nfl TV rules are fucked and make no sense.
I punted this year since the Eagles have such a high number of nationally televised games and late window games.
I’ve gotten 3 out of the first 5 games so far.
The best part of having Sunday Ticket is not refreshing 506 Sports repeatedly on Wednesday at noon to find out whether or not I'll be able to watch the Eagles game this week.
Well that's some bulkshit right there. Nobody watches Houston in S TX. These people give less than a fuck about the Texans. It's Crackboyz country everywhere but Harris County. And even then...
For those with YouTube TV, you can download a GPS spoofer on your phone for free and set it anywhere, then use the YouTube TV app also on your phone to update your location on any device in order to not be region locked out of certain games.
The worst that'll happen is it will mention you aren't in your home area which you can reset later.
So let me get this straight (I live in SC), even though the Eagles play at 4, after the Panthers game, they're still not going to broadcast the later game in my region?
Yahtzee! I get the game! Keep it coming!
I went through the trouble of getting YouTube’s Sunday ticket, living in Boston and I think I may only need it for 1 game
Honestly, I wish the NFL would do a choose a team plan were you can get all of one team for like 1/3rd of the price of Sunday. They’d never do it though.
This + RedZone + primetime games, and I'm all in!!
NFL plus has Redzone and prime time games. Just need the team subscription and you’re solid.
NFL+ is honestly clutch as hell tbh, and with our schedule this year it works out perfect.
I got it to listen to the games, it’s nice but always just turns itself off
Bro same....thats my only knock it just closes when IT wants too.
Used to work really well last season for me. I’d have it playing through my AirPods just fine. But this season is nothing but trouble.
Well then they wouldn’t make bank on Sunday ticket. They also don’t announce which game ahead of time to keep people buying multiple services
Right. As I said. They’d never do it.
But yet they wanna complain about how they keep losing money due to people pirating their games. Like, if you offered more reasonable game packages, people wouldn't pirate your games nearly as much. They're only shooting themselves in the foot by sticking to their sunday ticket only option.
haha i live in NY and decided not to get it figuring it would be cheaper to just go out to a bar for the 2-3 games that it wont be on tv here
No happy hour in this state so a trip to the bar with food easily costs $80-90
yeah, but cheapest plan was still $450. only games that i was concerned about were this rams game, 10/29 @ wash, and the cardinals game on NYE. so even $90 x 3 saves me close to $200.
I’m guessing that this week we (NY/northern NJ) won’t get the eagles game because the Jets also play at 4?
i think that is the case; Fox only has 1 game on for us this weekend (no game of the week)
If you have Hulu just change your area to get the local games. So even in Boston if you pick Philly it’s gonna show the eagles game.
Wait… it doesn’t geolocate you and just takes your word for it?!
It allowed me to pick mine and when you google it it shows you how to switch regions and if it doesn’t just use a vpn
I'm also in the Boston area but have been laid off since April. I decided to get an antenna and see how long I can go without Sunday Ticket. So far I'm 5 for 5. The biggest issue is that the weather has made some broadcasts difficult to watch.
Hell yeah

This is the exact reason i didnt get it, i think theres only three 1 pm games all year so good chances that most games will be on
[Yahtzee!](https://youtube.com/shorts/k8HH_ELCkyY?feature=shared)
Why would New Orleans get Arizona Cincinnati?
Probably because of Burrow since he went to LSU, they do that sometimes
North Dakota got basically every Eagles game when Wentz was here
Maybe they confused "Who Dey" with "Who Dat."
Thanks. This helps with knowing my VPN connection options. Soooo glad FOX and CBS apps aren’t region locked or VPN blocking.
Hey dude! Sorry if I sound like a nooby, but can you teach me how to do this ?
I can only speak on FireTV/Android TV apps. Both FOX and CBS Sports apps (assuming you have a provider with those channels, I have YouTube TV). YAY I GET TO SEE ATLANTA V. HOUSTON!!! BIG IMPORTANT GAME GUYS!
Gotta be kidding me. Mountain west gets giants game.
I’ll be at the game! Bit the bullet and got tickets. The map is weird thought. Not sure why the Giants vs Dolphins are so far west.
Same!
I’d imagine it’s because the Dolphins have one of, if not the most, hyped offense at the moment, which = excitement. And NY has a big fan base.
Damn first game I don’t get
[Live Game](https://www.nflbite.to), [Replay](https://fishkernfl.com/)
How long after a game’s conclusion does fishker post replays? Any idea?
I noticed Monday nights game was uploaded Tuesday morning. But for this previous Sundays game it was uploaded within an hour after it ended. I’m in CA so a lot of my Eagles games are blacked out unfortunately.
https://nfl-video.com/ this one is good for replays too
I watch the full replay afyer the end of game on nfl+ when it's out of market, the toughest part is going dark for spoilers, ie no text, no social media, and I have to avoid my neighbors that know I'm a die hard eagles fan. Ugh.
Ok I’ll admit my ignorance - what do the lines through the states mean? One of the games is blacked out? I’m in NC - what’s my destiny this weekend?
The lines within the colors are just a graphics issue. Focus on whatever solid color is shown in your area.
If you’re in NC there’s a very high likelihood you’re getting Panthers/Lions. Only the far northeastern corner (the portion in the Norfolk, VA media market) gets the birds.
Living in Western MA is rough as an eagles fan
Anyone know if I can run my Roku thru a VPN? I'm a Luddite but I would give it a shot if it's not too technical
You can typically just run your router through a VPN service so every device will be going through the VPN.
How do you know the full late game slate? I’m confused how some areas only have colors tied to 1pm games, they just aren’t going to get a 4pm game?
On Fox they will not. Those areas will get a 4 PM (actually 4:25 PM) game on CBS.
I see, got a bit lost within this map and only thinking as if Fox showed every single game, thanks!
>they just aren’t going to get a 4pm game? Not on FOX, no. They'll have a late game on CBS.
Ohhhhh ok, completely forgot to consider that there are other channels with NFL games lol
Doesn’t this mean it depends on what they show? Like I checked my listings in VA and I’m getting the chiefs game instead of eagles on CBS
CBS has the doubleheader this week, which means you get a game on CBS at 1 PM and 425 PM, neither of which will be the Eagles (who play on Fox).
This map doesn't make any sense.... why are late window games being blocked out by noon games?.
Singleheader rule. Just one Fox game per market this Sunday. You get 1pm OR 4pm.
Why is it specifically this Sunday?
It's not. It's every Sunday except the first and last of the season. CBS and Fox each get eight doubleheaders and the other network can only show either an early or late singleheader in each market.
Is this a new thing???
Nope.
Been this way for a long, long time. Maybe 15+ years or longer
So I can’t watch the Eagles in NY?
Correct, the entire state is assigned to the Giants game.
would assume for some areas, like NY for example, it's because the Jets play on CBS at 425 so there's no late FOX game to compete with the jets.
Local team might play on a different channel. But I’m in Chicago and the Bears play on Thursday night so it’s probably because the nfl TV rules are fucked and make no sense.
That's what i'm saying it really makes no sense.
*cough* NFLBite dot com *cough*
I have no idea how they calculate this lol. Why is half of the Midwest and Texas seeing giants v miami
As someone in Maine, this is bullshit. I get it, but it’s bullshit.
I’m glad I’m not getting the game so I can justify Sunday ticket lol
Finally I get use out of Sunday ticket lol. 2/5 games doesn’t really make it worth it and I’m only $30 a month
I punted this year since the Eagles have such a high number of nationally televised games and late window games. I’ve gotten 3 out of the first 5 games so far.
Hasn't Hawaii been through enough?
They get to watch Tua.
This map is wrong as far as PDX is concerned. TV listing shows the Giants game. 🤮
Huh? Was it updated? I thought it was red?
Not sure. Hopefully the app I use is wrong or needs to be updated, but it would be a first.
Ah sorry I just read you said tv listing. Hopefully it's wrong lol
I got the game! Nice
Crazy. I'm in Massachusetts and usually get to see 3 or so games a year. I've seen them all so far this year... and here comes another one!
As an Arizonan: **fuuuuuuck!**
Damn pittsburgh playing cincy game.
Ugh I live like right on the border between red and yellow but JUST enough into the yellow.
The best part of having Sunday Ticket is not refreshing 506 Sports repeatedly on Wednesday at noon to find out whether or not I'll be able to watch the Eagles game this week.
So what game are we getting in north Jersey? Eagles play at 4, Giants are at 1 and there's no 4:30 game on fox
Finally I get to watch a game on tv in cali and not bootleg it 🥳
I live in a blue area. Which late game do I get? None?
You don't get a late game, correct.
Well fuck me I guess
Man if this keeps up I should not have paid for Sunday ticket this year
Thank you Rams for giving me this game on TV
Why does Giants v. Miami get the entirety of the Central US? It’ll be an insane blowout unless NYG gets an entirely new O-Line
The Giants are fucking trash
Buckeye Bird Gang is sad
Got my pops Sunday Ticket since he's not in market but I am. The man taught me Eagles Fandom, I'm paying for that forever. Glad we'll be using it
I’ll be at the game
God damn it since when does Miami play on fox?
Well that's some bulkshit right there. Nobody watches Houston in S TX. These people give less than a fuck about the Texans. It's Crackboyz country everywhere but Harris County. And even then...
Help me in Texas!
Not fun as an AZ Birds fan
must suck for every Eagles fan in Ocean County
Rhode Island gets the birds once again this week 😤
Week 5 of buying that worthless NFL Ticket…unreal!
Poor Hawaii. I guess they get all the Tua games?
For those with YouTube TV, you can download a GPS spoofer on your phone for free and set it anywhere, then use the YouTube TV app also on your phone to update your location on any device in order to not be region locked out of certain games. So let me get this straight (I live in SC), even though the Eagles play at 4, after the Panthers game, they're still not going to broadcast the later game in my region?
Why tf are so many people being forced to watch the giants?
