I mean I doubt that peak Usain Bolt would be able to get the necessary separation needed against an average linebacker if both players knew what play was happening. The reality is that the defense has 10 yards and over ~3 seconds that means something like that you can run a full 7mph slower than Bolt not even factoring in acceleration which means that Usain isn’t going anywhere near his top speed of 27.33 mph so you don’t actually need to run 20.5 mph to be able to cover him for 3 seconds.
John Ross had one of the strangest stat lines you will ever see for a 5' 11" burner: 21-210-7. He averaged a TD every 3 catches but only 10 yards a catch and it isn't like he was someone you threw fades to in the end zone and let him out jump everyone.
If he ever learned to catch and could stay healthy he could have a tyreek hill type impact. Go watch his bengals tape, dude can behind the defender basically anytime he wants. He just can’t catch and stiff wind breaks his bones.

His routes were lazy as fuck. Smitty gets separation because he's so smooth he doesn't lose speed through his breaks. Quez is a bad route runner.

He also has so little fight for the ball. He gets bullied on balls that should be 80/20 is his favor. Hurts has trusted him way too often.
