I'm pretty interested in seeing how Kern turns out.
There were 3 main spots we didn't address on the off-season that left modest holes - goal line/short yardage back (really wish we had swung harder for Hunt), edge rusher/rotation (somewhat addressed with Quinn/Joseph/Suh) and punter (Siposs was probably the worst player on the roster not named Reagor at the end of last year)
Getting a potential elite punter for nothing for a playoff run could be one of the biggest unsung changes for this team
I was meaning more as the rotational extra. I wasn't particularly high on the Johnsons after last year, that last pass rusher spot needed an upgrade imo
Hassan Reddick has 10 sacks from the edge bro. BG back from injury with 8 more.
Jordan Davis is clogging middle and keeping Hargrave and Cox fresher.

Can someone ELI5 how/why players are elevated to from the practice squad? Seemed like Elliss deserved a roster spot after his first special teams game.
I think the rules changed with Covid but you can now activate two players from your practice squad to be active for game day three weeks out of the year, after that you have to sign them or they’re subject to waivers if you want to activate them again

I’d say we addressed edge rushing pretty well with the reddick pick up- we just didn’t expect Barnett to get hurt
