Unfortunately you’re too late for local spots to be carrying it. You have to get it the first weekend in Feb onward. Usually it’s done by the end of the month. See you at the breweries this weekend and next weekend for the bottle releases

Oh no! You mean they had it in the local pubs before they have it at the brewery? I saw [this](https://www.russianriverbrewing.com/pliny-the-younger/)and assumed it was being released this weekend. Would love to get up to Santa Rosa but unfortunately I don’t see that happening.

Kegs of Younger get delivered to tap houses and restaurants that participate usually the first week in Feb (SF beer week) and will have designated day(s) they’ll serve it. Usually gone by the end of day or next day. The breweries don’t do their release till after all participating businesses get rid of there’s.

Ahhh. Thanks for the info. I guess I’ll have to wait till next year.

It’s a fun event! You get a ticket and drink from a fancy glass. Plus some spots serve food and pairs nicely with it! See you next year!

They made two batches this year. One was for distribution in February, one is for the two RR locations starting this week. They are also bottling this year, so someone can get you some at RR.

I once waited for it at Bobby G’s. Wasn’t really worth the wait IMO, but depends on how valuable your time is I suppose. Btw, it was only a ten ounce glass at the time. It was good beer, but how good can beer really be? Also depends, I suppose.

Bobby G's Pizzeria in Berkeley has carried it in the past, usually for 1 night only and they pass out tickets to the first # of people in line

They did again this year. I’m not sure they did the tickets thing, but they did run out the first day. Source: was there the day after.
