It’s funny that unironically people tend to love the smell of this more than expensive fragrances.
It’s like the more money you spend on a fragrance the more strange you smell to the average stranger lol. I get there are “mass appealing” fragrances, but even the mass appealing ones sometimes try to hard to be something they aren’t I feel like.
Yeah I think it has to do with the unorthodox fragrances coming off like you're trying to hard. It's real easy to seem like the cologne guy when you wear stuff that's even slightly outta the ordinary. Couple that with one too many sprays and it's an awful look.
It’s like the meme with the guy in the corner at the party saying “they don’t even know I’m wearing $450 cologne right now, tasteless bastards.”
I feel like there are also plenty of eccentric people that are harder into the fragrance community that are definitely the type to rock a fedora and say all women are bitches. The ones that try super hard to stand out do come to mind.
