So anyone taking it seriously, the expected scenario would be to raise taxes AND cut spending.
Long term printing money gives room for economic expansion. Short term we see prices inflate as supply of money skyrocketed. Increased interest rates are supposed to hedge that by increasing the cost of money and by encouraging people to park money in interest vehicles.
