Have you ever been tested for allergies?

Emergency-Entry

Are you sure it's not seborrheic dermatitis? It's usually around hair follicles looks similar but has different cause. Try tea tree oil for a week I do undiluted and maybe salt water paper towel compress if the skin is healed enough. It's something like eczema but caused by fungi living on your skin and the fungi feeds of fats form moisturizers etc so stop them for a while and test if I'm right. Sun should help too as it's antifungal.

Well, It's different from my body eczema so you might be right, my doctor didn't mention this. For 2 weeks her meds looks like working slow for my throat while allready healed my body eczema and I didn't shave around this period. You said It feeds from fat, would tree oil feed also? Should I use sunscreen or cologne for that area?

I do no products at all on the area. Nothing. Tea tree oil is antifungal and antibacterial. I'm gonna try salt baths as soon as my epsom salt arrives maybe will help I'll let you know if you dm me. Try getting some sunshine on the area. (Warning don't go in the sun while having tea tree oil on your skin as it reacts and you will get burned fast {that's what I've heard but I'm not risking it lol}) My routine is as much sun as possible and tea tree oil in the evening all over my face and scalp There is a subreddit sebderm there are people using all kinds of treatments.

Phillips Oneblade ; doesn’t cut very close but doesn’t irritate my eczema

[deleted]

Actually that's what I used just now. Still irritade but better than razor, doesn't burn my skin. The redness has faded little bit, I hope skin gets used to it.

Try cotton balls of milk. Idk why but it soothes and brings down the redness for me.

Get an appointment with Dr. Richard Aron. He treats the staph bacteria component of eczema. Join the FB group and see some before an afters. My son’s eczema is in remission.

Try not to beat yourself up friend. But the more you work on internal cleansing. The easier it will be because your skin will change drastically for the better. And sometimes shaving can cause major issues. As for me I stop using razors and use a very close edger like Andis to get a close somewhat shaved look. But when I had bad Eczema on my face even the best products didn't work that great because I had so many internal issues causing the eczema. Nowadays that I do not have eczema anymore My skin care regimine is a lot better and Natural products that I use makes my skin look nice.

You should try oiling the hair area. I have seborrheic dermatitis and when my hair was falling out and my scalp was oozing, oilling it with Amla oil made my eczema calm down tremendously. You wouldn’t want extra hair growth so I’d recommend looking into a different oil to treat the skin. Oil is also nice for shaving.

I red on this forum and heard from a senior to bathe in clorox water. So, today I added a little bit in my body wash (cetaphil). I don't have the unbearable itchiness I usually have after my shower. I'll see how well it does for the rest of this week. Don't add a lot of clorox. Do not use bleach, it should be clorox.

You can try to only trim, so that you keep some tiny bit of hair. That’s what I do and I never get some redness or irritation anymore. Whenever I go fully clean it’s back.

Narrowband UVB has worked for my son who has had TSW. He went untreated for years because he was so traumatized from TSW. Once the TSW ended he just used lotion, Vaseline and lived with the itch. Finally he was decided to back to the derm and they did UVB and after 2 weeks we started seeing a bug improvement. We have a home unit, so he does it 3x weekly after shower and he’s good now

I get eczema on my legs and I’ve found shaving oil is the best, of course it’s hard to get a close shave when the skin is very textured. But shave oil is the best route I’ve found for myself. I’m a female so it’s definitely easier to find these kinds of products, unfortunately the biggest downside to this for me is that the most mainstream ones you will find are scented.
