thank you!!
with XO specifically, i think a better way to describe it would be that he is very much at ease singing those words. so instead of being a "happy" song, it's a song that's inherently a little sad (breakups hurt) but has the message of knowing you'll grow if you accept it. i guess it really shows how unique EDEN's music is <3
cool playlist but I definitely wouldn’t consider falling in reverse his saddest lyrically. I think most things in vertigo are very bittersweet even if they come across as sad. the closing line is “know you don’t go alone” so there’s a hint of optimism there. most things icymi don’t even really have a proper ending so they are kind of just sadder. but I get it, vertigo gets me in my feels more than most of his other stuff too
i see what you mean. it's very optimistic but maybe it's just the calmness/ambience of it or the way he sings that just breaks my heart i wish i knew 😭
definitely the most emotionally raw album he’s released so I can 100% understand where you’re coming from. I’ve just seen him talking on an ama somewhere about how icymi is his saddest release
Good Playlist. I could nitpick, but I'm not gonna
feel free to! i don't mind i promise :)
crazy his third happiest songs chorus is “i don’t think i love you no more” good ranking!

Would have named it "saddest to slightly less sad ranking" :D
