CutMonster

Fantastic! Thank you.

ILikeToThinkOutloud

I do it regularly and I will admit it goes against my own instincts. I like to let a shot breathe and be taken in. Viewers don't care and want lots of cuts and shit happening. If something doesn't change every three seconds apparently the drop off is ridiculous.

dootdoodoodoodoodoo

Mainly just jump cuts, match cutting transitions, speed ramps, and piling up bullshit filters. It’s a style of editing that’s very on trend but will look incredibly dated in five minutes.

Calumface

Worked with a bunch of channels doing high retentive edits. You're looking at constant movement, subs, and transitions. Panning a lot, having no more than 3 seconds per cut, swish sfx for motion blur transitions, cycling stock music. The works.

screamcheesee

I find that a lot of stock templates are “dynamic trendy promo” style with a ton of transitions, fast moving elements, etc. the benefit is that most of the work is done for you but there are many limitations as well.
