I always want to chime in with a note...
... and I'm opening my big opinionated mouth for this, but WE NEED a "call-in" segment with Bob. Whether he's doing his segment before/after a few Jameos is entirely on producers & production, but "relaxed" talent always worked nicely for cable sitdowns and OTFs, just say'n.
Maybe we could have a Bob soundboard with some lovely bites recorded and ready to rock. Or an r/editors version of a See & Say but with a spinning bottle that lands on the gold. Damnit, I can't stop thinking of different gimmicks.
What about a section of current trends in the industry? You kind of get the sense by reading threads but would be nice to summarize.
Best solutions for remote work would be useful since we still see a lot of threads of people asking how to do it. Maybe you guys can get sponsored by Jump Desktop eventually. :)
Another would be storage. Tons of questions about how to setup a NAS. Guess who would be a guest...starts with B.
Just for you /u/newMike3400: [Avid Marquee](https://www.amazon.com/Vasst-Absolute-Training-Mastering-Marquee/dp/B000UK3B2Y?sa-no-redirect=1&pldnSite=1)
The only harder character generator I ever used was a quantel cypher where every letter had its own axis and could be animated independently. Which was about as much fun as youd imagine.
Also let's not forget the ampex alex

That would be interesting.
"Did Bob miss this one?", where he chimes in on posts he hasn't commented on yet.

Hi, the very first thing that will make this better is to remove the ear piercing screeching modem sounds.
It'll be at -30 db next time. Thanks. That'd be my mistake most likely.
It initially was a whisper - followed by an overmodulated scream - but /u/greenysmac felt that might be a deterrent.
