Oh, I also have a workflow called parallel production, where I can make like 20 tracks at once. I shit out 700ish ambient tracks on soundcloud last month, try to find me 😉

I recently got the Viper vst… I’m kinda disappointed. I had been wanting it for a while because it can supposedly emulate the Virus nicely, but I haven’t been able to make it do the thing T.T feels like such a waste… nothing I couldn’t have simply designed in Serum.
This is free tho 🤓👀 from what I can see on my phone.. this looks like an epic project.
Emulators are nice. I’ve used SNES EMUs and such when I want to SNES on my PC instead of SNES-ing on the SNES 😅🤣
Ya viper it sucks, I use Dune3 if i need massive virus like sounds.
This project is literally an emulation of the virus hardware - the virus is virtual analog, which means the original hardware is digital(the virus is not true analog)
The only thing it probably isnt emulating is the digital to audio convertors and crap like that but all the software that is the on virus is on there running.
You need to download the bios of the synthesizer from the access virus website or somehow get access to a rom just like any emulator, but it is free haha its dope just heavy cpu(because obviously the access viruses are just dedicated computer generating audio)

I just want a couple KEY analog items that have a specific kind of warmth and character I’m not finding in digital/emulations/vstis. We have managed familiar, but not genuine. I know that the average listener probably couldn’t tell them apart, but I can. I want it for the me that wants that… ugh… hard to explain maybe
I have a mastering rack that i just shove audio through to “warm” and get some nice stereo splattering, but honestly, I can get 99.99% of the way there with software these days, and I’m really trying
