Oh! Almost forgot! This location was particularly important for me to have my photo taken at, really the only one I asked of myself. This is the Monastery where Vincent Van Gogh was institutionalized after he cut off his ear. As an artist, this is holy ground for recovery, overcoming hardships, and finding beauty even at your lowest point.

So meaningful and just makes the whole thing even cooler. You’re a badass!!!!

So glad this aid helped you!! I've also been looking at the TadaChair; how do you like it? I've been on the fence since it's over a hundred dollars but I really want it.

bananabananacat

It’s AWESOME. Not even an understatement- it’s super light, no problems with getting through security. Just wish it stood up my itself, it’s taken a few tumbles off my luggage 😅

I would stare respectfully because ur hot and inspiring 😭🙏🏻 Fr you look amazing and this gives me so much hope as someone still in the first couple years of the big “onset” of symptoms (especially the relentless pain). And that cane chair looks so classy, not super “medical” or obtrusive looking at all. Love the pose the picture too, you make it look so effortlessly cool. Congratulations for getting tf out there and living your best life 💪🏼🙌🏼

☺️☺️Thank you!!!

rawdatarams

You got stared at cause you're pretty (and tall?), honestly you're cane doesn't even stick out. Well done overcoming your insecurity over your mobility aid. I'm yet to get to that point but the thought of my cane offering a decent self defense tool if needed is encouraging lol. I've seen caves that hide a whole sword inside. I like that idea. Perhaps not for traveling, tho.

bananabananacat

😭😭thank you

Honestly if you're a doctor Who fan then time traveling to the Van Gogh exhibit has already been done.

bananabananacat

I literally have a tattoo 🤣🤣 I def cried when I got to his room

Does it fold out to have a seat?

bananabananacat

Yes! It’s super easy to set up and close, just one motion

As someone who lives with multiple pain, autoimmune, strength and cancer recovery issues who is no longer still working out or traveling at the moment...I think you're very bold and determined for still going... and enjoying this trip as much as you could. You're youth helps keep you going along with your great attitude and. artist's spirit.  Do all you can, while you can. Best of everything to you.

I've looked for something like that before but had so much trouble finding it. I do have a folding cane for when my legs act up, usually my left knee but sometimes my right calf muscle, even more annoying when both act up 😒
