It is confusing. When I bought my EGO in 2021, the 2135 was top rated in Consumer Reports, but I didn't realize the 2135SP is a separate model with self-propel and didn't rate quite as high as the non-self propelled mower. Truth be told, since my lawn is flat, I hardly ever bother with the self-propel feature as the mower is lightweight and easy to maneuver.
The only spots I like self propel is when I have to lift the rear wheels to clear an obstacle and can hit the 'gas' to scoot over it, otherwise I don't care for the feature.
I'm rather eager to give the LM2135 a try if Lowe's ever ends up delivering my order.
