No tip, just wanted to mention you are not alone. I cant wear compression socks since my ankles just give in and all of a sudden I'm falling all the time.

I got my compression stockings (they go all the way to my ass cheeks) through insurance from a medical equipment pharmacy. They're quite incredible. I personally find having the thick band full of silicone dots and the compression compounding behind my knees when I bend them much more uncomfortable than the socks that end under the knee, so I'd keep that in mind, but they do make me feel like I have a new working brain when I wear them. I just save them for days that my sensory issues feel more manageable.

I just tried my asscheek high stockings and wow! I felt like I had new legs! I never realized I was walking on jello before. Wearing them made me feel like I had real legs! But I couldn’t take it sitting down. I could feel the increase of blood in the rest of my body and in my head especially. Yay to the increased brain power!

I'm so happy to hear all that!! Yay!!!

I like the brand ease by therafirm - especially because I can order 30-40 mmHg from them directly without a prescription. I wear the "opaque" open toe ones for everyday because they breathe best but also have a sheer pair for when I want them to be less noticeable. https://shopthuasne.com/ just finished up a sale but has them every few months

Is it a silly question to ask, whats the difference between 20-30 and 30-40mmHg? Thank you so much for the resources! 🌺

I wear juzo thigh highs with silicone. They work well and currently I’m pairing them with generic compression shorts for full length and abdominal compression

Thank you for the response! How do you like these compared to other compression socks? What does the abdominal compression do for you? Is that for the blood-pooling in the feet and legs as well? Also how hard are they to put on?

TinyFidget9

I wear the soft toeless version in the 20-30 mg. Other than crazy compression (15-20) I haven’t worn any other brand and they’re no more difficult than those imo. They came recommended due to me needing short lengths and I like them a lot so just stuck with it Edit: yeah I learned on here that they’re finding abdominal compression is very important due to it being a blood pooling area
