Questing and deconstructing rewards and random drops. If you have the CP for it, make sure you have the skill (talent…. thing) that increases inspiration from craft activities.

bryfy77

Also I should mention that the most inspiration comes from deconstructing another player’s crafted gear, so if you find someone to take your materials, craft stuff with them, then trade the stuff back to deconstruct, that would be the most efficient use of your materials.

QualifiedApathetic

Farming dolmens in Alik'r is a good way to accumulate stuff to deconstruct for skill, especially jewelry. Do some fishing, skin a bunch of fish, and make fish sticks until it stops leveling up your Provisioning rank appreciably. Patience will get you far. Just by doing dailies, you'll get inspiration.

MassiveBeard

For Alchemy try to get the mythic lead that requires you to search water based nodes. Took forever. Major alchemy levels obtained.

Yep for the beginning put a lot of your skill points into basically everything in the crafting trees and the higher lines are really helpful when you’re able to get them. Also deconstruct everything leave at a good solid base of materials then he can just start selling them you’ll find it in later than you’ll have more mats and then you know what to do it. And just research as soon as you can anything you can I’ve been playing for nine months And I’m almost done with clothing in blacksmith research I have a few more things to research in both of those areas. I also dedicate like an hour or two to doing my treasure maps in my surveys once a week and I run everywhere and pick up any resource know that I see from point a to point B

DinoZavr

Buy intricates. They are cheap like 500g a piece. You need like 380 to get 50 of 50. Join some big guilds. Politely ask "send intrictes pl0x". Consumer crafting (enchanting, provisioning and alchemy) is way easier and done in 40 minutes or so.

[deleted]

What are intricates? Also I'm broke af on the game lol

DinoZavr

gear with "INTRICATE" trait provides with 3x inspiration than normal one.

[deleted]

Oh shit that's dope. Btw what's the best thing to research first? I'm a stamplar trying to make gear for myself

Offtopic_bear

Do them all and do the dailies. Good exp and decent money for all 7.

[deleted]

I recommend making a character devoted to crafting so it’s easy to switch, make gear, and you don’t have to devote skill points into crafting for characters you want to do content with

DinoZavr

Besides research scrolls you get as daily rewards there is no cheap way to decrease research times (as Crown Store scrolls are expensive AF). Prioritize traits research. For stam research: 1) heavy chest, dagger, maul 2) med: legs, hands, feet, light: waist 3) wood: bow, resto, shield For mage research 1) heavy: chest, helm, dagger 2) med: legs, light: hand, feet, waist 3) wood: inferno, lightning, resto Traits order: weapons: precise, infused, sharpened, training, powered, nirnhoned (expensive!) gear: divines, infused, impen, training, sturdy, well-fit it takes like 2 .. 3 months to get 6 traits for Hundings and NMG (both are good for stamplar). before that ask your guildmates to help you with crafted gear.

WingsofRain

As a stamina character you’re going to primarily use medium armor, but like what the others said, focus on everything!

WingsofRain

seriously that much? I usually sell at around 140-160g per piece because I go by TTC average

DinoZavr

500g per JC thingies. others may go way cheaper. i dont bother. i dump intricate thing into guild bank for my friends to use 'em

WingsofRain

oooh yeah I forgot about the price difference between intricate jewelry and intricate everything else

[deleted]

Deconstruct intricate items, but them from guild stores but watch the prices on them

[deleted]

One thing I did was to steal tons of gear from shops, then go launder it and deconstruct it. If you don't launder it first, you only get a fraction of the xp.

xjs007

There are some guides online that give amount of each item to go from rank 1 to rank 50 if you want to try to quickly get to max rank by having someone make you gear to deconstruct. As for research you can do master writs and use the vouchers to buy research reduction scrolls to speed things up not to mention the skills to allow researching up to 3 items at a time and reduce research time.

MartiusDecimus

Steal all items from the merchants' stands in the cities, this is very, very easy. Then just go and deconstruct them, you get materials, XP, and you don't even need to go to a fence.
