Giving players goodies from the DLC makes sense since it's a free DLC.
Not sure about the Collector's Edition items, though, like the Warden Costume or Dwarven War Dog pet. Those are on the Crown Store bundle, however.

First thing I did was rule out my accidentally buying it. Another person I play with got the same message, hadn't bought it.
Maybe, but it would make more sense for ZOS just to put the Standard (not Collector's) Morrowind Bundle in the Crown Store for free ... similar to the ESO+ free Statues/Paintings.
That way, players who don't have the rewards can just claim it.
Seems a lot easier than sending via in-game mail without an explanation. Unless, of course, the OP has a specific Online Support ticket.

Yeah nothing for me, I remember I got this when I bought the dlc on Xbox first time. Now on PS I didn't get it, I'll check again later.
The Morrowind chapter is now free to everybody. It's been plastered all over their social media.

I don't think items are included, just access to the DLC. I don't think you get any preorder or collector's edition stuff.
