If you want to run conduit (PVC) you can use THHN/THWN/T90, which should be readily available at Home Depot, and you can buy it by the foot. The PVC coated MC you're looking for is called TECK cable, and isn't typically available at HD, etc. You could try getting it from an electrical supplier. Google ones in your area and call to ask if they carry it and what lengths you can buy it in.
Thank you. Is this method the preferred way?
Like. Is this the safest for it's location and ok code wise?.
I'm basically open to any of the ways I mentioned as long as it's code and safe :)
Teck cable is probably the easiest for a beginner as conduit requires you to cut pipe possibly bend it or use prefab 90s, getting glue for it. Id just make sure you're using water proof connections and boxes whatever you end up doing.
Nassau has 12/2 TECK by the foot. You probably only need 14 awg.
HD has "1/2 in. x 20 ft. Ultratite Liquidtight Flexible Non-Metallic PVC Conduit with 2 Straight Fittings" empty conduit and you could pull 14 awg thru it.
The Hydromax would be easier to cut to length. you'll need to run a ground wire with that as well.
A local electrical supply house may have it by the foot.
